Debates are still ongoing in the United States, regarding whether or not COVID-19 vaccine should truly be mandated. The consensus by many citizens though, is that the mandates are what’s best, to keep everyone safe, and get back to living like it’s 2019 again.
Brooklyn Nets star, Kyrie Irving, has been one of the celebrities who has been vocal about not supporting mandates. He also believes that he has to stand up for people who are losing their jobs, due to refusing to adhere to the mandates. Now, legendary comedian, Chris Rock, has some thoughts on Irving, and anti-vaxxers.

Chris Rock Addresses Irving And Anti-Vaxxers, In Brooklyn
Rock appeared at an NFT Week event, in Brooklyn, last night. This featured various comedians and artists. Those included were Lil Baby, Questlove, Aziz Ansari, and Rich the Kid, per TMZ.
Rock spoke to the crowd about COVID masks, and also the mandates required, to get into venues, in New York City. He soon asked the attendees “Where’s my anti-vaxxers at?” That soon surprisingly drew some support in the audience, but that ended up taking a quick turn, with Rock saying “You dumb, Kyrie motherf******!!!”

Rock Shouts Out The Different COVID-19 Vaccines
At the same time though, Rock asked which members of the audience got which COVID vaccines. Many ended up cheering on for the Moderna, Johnson & Johnson, and Pfizer vaccines. Rock did take a small shot at the J&J vaccine as well, by calling it the “food stamp” of vaccines.
Irving Still Cannot Play For The Nets, Due To Being Unvaccinated
The 2021-222 NBA regular season has been underway for a few weeks now, and Kyrie Irving still hasn’t played a game for the Brooklyn Nets yet. This is due to his continual refusal to get vaccinated against COVID-19. He emphasized during an Instagram Live session last month that he’s not anti-vax at all, but he is against the mandates.
Many critics have since viewed Irving as a selfish teammate, considering the fact that the rest of the Nets have been vaccinated. The Nets could possibly miss out on winning an NBA title this season, without Irving’s availability. Brooklyn currently stands at 5-3, though.
Protestors Supported Irving Outside Of Barclays Center
A few weeks ago, there was chaos outside of the Barclays Center, in Brooklyn. A protest took place outside of the venue, prior to the Nets’ home opener, vs the Charlotte Hornets. Many of these people were anti-vax mandate, and many signs were held, supporting Irving. Many of these people attempted to enter Barclays, but thankfully, security was able to get things under control.
Chris Rock Had COVID-19
Back in September Chris Rock also revealed that he tested positive for COVID. He took to his Twitter feed to confirm this, by saying “Hey guys I just found out I have COVID, trust me you don’t want this. Get vaccinated. That ended up being a breakthrough case, as he was fully vaccinated.
