Gal Gadot is famous for being a role model to young girls as DC's "Wonder Woman," but she is switching to the "dark" side with her latest casting.

This is not the Israeli actress's first time playing a villain. She previously starred in the Netflix film "Red Notice," where she played an infamous art thief alongside Ryan Reynolds.

Now the star is taking her villainous acting skills up a notch with her latest Disney casting as an "iconic" evil character in "Snow White."

Gadot has been cast for the role of the Evil Queen in the live-action production of Disney's Snow White. 

At the premiere of her new movie "Red Notice," the star spoke to ET about her excitement about casting in the upcoming take of Disney's original fairytale.

Gadot said to Matt Cohen, "I'm excited to create an iconic villain character in my own voice." The actress clicked her fingers together like a true Disney villain and said:

"Mirror, mirror on the wall. Can't wait!"

Based on her critically acclaimed embodiment of previous roles, Gadot's excitement hints at a must-see performance. The outlet confirmed that Rachel Zegler is cast as Snow White pending further casting announcement.

Late Princess Diana inspired the "Wonder Woman" Character

Gadot has inspired many girls all over the globe with her superhero casting as Wonder Woman, but she also has female role models that inspire her.

The Blast reported that the 36-year-old revealed that Princess Diana was the inspiration behind her take as "Wonder Woman."

On April 13, during a Vanity Fair Cocktail Hour Live event, the star revealed that the late Princess of Wales had a way of connecting with others through empathy and compassion.

Gadot said she wanted to highlight those features, as well as "show her vulnerabilities and heart."

Interestingly, the late Princess of Wales and the DC superhero are named Princess Diana before "Wonder Woman" took on the alias of Diana Prince.

The "Red Notice" Star Is Also A Dotting Mother-of-three

Gadot broke the news that she and her husband, Jaron Varasono, were expecting the third addition to their family. The parents already shared two daughters at the time, Alma, 9, and Maya, 3. 

The Blast reported that, On March 1, Gadot took to Instagram with the news. She added an amusing caption to a photo of her family that read, "Here we go again ❤✋??"

Varasono and their two adorable daughters lay beside Gadot with their hands gently rubbing her cute baby bump in the heartwarming image.

The post was met with lots of love and well-wishes from fans and friends. DC's "Aquaman," Jason Momoa wrote, "congratulations mama," with several red-heart emojis.

Hilary Swank excitedly typed, "Ahhhhhhhhh congratulations!! ??" On Tuesday, June 29, Gadot welcomed her third daughter, Daniella Varasono.

The actress took to Instagram to share a similar family photo again, but the cute little girl was part of the frame this time. She shared how excited the entire family was about welcoming Daniella.
