Chanel West Coast squeezed in a sunbathing session this week – and she's been busy. Alongside taking to social media to shut down trolls accusing her of profiting off Kobe Bryant's death, the 31-year-old rapper and "Ridiculousness" star has let cameras inside her home, plus announced that a new music video is on the way.

Multi-task her music, TV appearances, clothing business, and influencing she might, but Chanel will always make time for a little swimsuit action, doing just this as she updated her Instagram stories on Wednesday

Chanel didn't indicate her location in her stories. That said, the "Sharon Stoned" rapper was somewhere sunny, with her setting showing full sunlight, plus palms and clear blue skies. Perfect for catching some rays.

Chanel was in selfie mode as she filmed both her lush surrounds and her sizzling bikini body. The brunette was lying solo and poolside, flaunting her fit and curvy body in a tiny purple two-piece with ribbed fabrics. The halterneck finish flashed a little cleavage, with Chanel's flat stomach also on show as she swung the camera downwards.

Chanel also wore purple shades to match her bikini. "CHILL" appeared in text as Chanel filmed the nearby pool complete with an inflatable seen in the water.

Chanel faced backlash online this week as she honored the late Kobe Bryant via her new "Black Roses" track. The rapper herself had taken to Instagram following the tragic death of the 41-year-old NBA icon last month – Chanel's post showed her with the All-Star player and came with a heartfelt caption.

Nonetheless, fans accused Chanel of "exploiting" Kobe's death, with Chanel herself responding.

“The song is about showing love to your loved ones before they are gone,” Chanel began, explaining the relevance of her track and the athlete’s untimely death. “It was Kobe’s memorial today and my friend just died as well. This song ain’t about me or you, it’s about spreading LOVE," she wrote.

"Wake up and get the message," Chanel added.

Chanel just keeps dropping dope tracks. 2019 saw the star release "Sharon Stoned" and "Old Fashioned." Then came "Anchors," with Chanel's most recent "Black Roses" track getting a boost as the rapper took to Instagram today to announce that a music video for "Secure The Bag" is coming. Chanel posed wearing pastel pink pants and a loose tan crop top from inside a bathtub to make the announcement.

Chanel also delivered some music-centric content yesterday, taking to Instagram with Anaya Lovenote as the two danced in a pink bedroom – this, too, was geared towards the "Secure The Bag" track.

Complained She Wasn't Getting Enough Instagram Likes

Bikini updates from Chanel get plenty of likes. That said, the rapper made headlines this month for ranting that her fans weren't being generous enough with the likes.

"For the most part I f_cking like everybody's sh_t, and nobody likes my sh_t. And I'm just like, b_tch I'm f_cking famous on a million episodes of TV, and you got way less followers than me and I'm liking your sh_t and you don't ever wanna like my sh_t?" she wrote, adding:

"Who the f_ck do you think you are? You think I'm desperate because I'm friendly and liking your sh_t? Ain't nobody f_cking desperate, I'm just being nice."

Chanel has 3.3 million Instagram followers, with posts mostly proving immensely popular.
