Social media, it seems, is not for everyone, especially Jay-Z!

Just when fans and celebrities were celebrating the fact that one of music's legends left his paradise of privacy to join the rest of us on Instagram, the rap icon proved that he is, in fact, not at all on our level! Not like we didn't already know that!

Just one day after breaking the internet and creating an Instagram account that acquired millions of followers in hours, it appears that Hov has deactivated his page. Yep, that's right, no more Instagram for Jay-Z!

Celebrities Were Thrilled About Jay-Z Being On Instagram

As The Blast previously covered, Jay-Z made his debut on Instagram with a poster of the Netflix movie, "The Harder They Fall," which he co-produced. True to his nature, the photo amassed over half a million likes.

While his first post wasn't particularly out of this world, his presence on the social media platform broke quite some records. For starters, he became the first person ever to be followed by Beyoncé! The doting husband also only followed his wife.

Apart from the admirable show of love from the couple, celebrities were excited to have him on board. Actress Drew Barrymore uploaded a photo of her and the music mogul hugging at an event and wrote, "Welcome to Instagram Jay-Z."

Stars like Gwyneth Paltrow, Tracy Anderson, amongst others, also celebrated his arrival.
