Since the very first notes of the Real Housewives of New York theme song hit the TV speakers people were hooked. Women of a certain age creating drama everywhere they went, but hugging it out in the end, and bringing even more drama the next week? Sign me up!
The housewives up to this point had been fairly tame, if we're being honest. The OC ladies brought the drama, but not quite in the same way as our New York Icons.

But one Housewife stands in a world of her own when it comes to allowing dynamic friendships to break down on camera. Bethenny Frankel is no stranger to media, and knows exactly how to spin a story to be in her favor. Let's delve into what happens when the B stop acting nice and starts getting real. This is the real story of Bethenny Frankel, Jill Zarin, and Carole Radziwill, and the pressure cooker that is reality TV.

If you were among the millions of viewers who tuned into the first season of RHONY, you surely fell in love with the iconic duo that was Jill Zarin and Bethenny Frankel. From the moment they hit the screen together there was no denying the chemistry. Fan fell in love with their witty and quick banter and their friendship became center of entertainment when it came to New York Housewives. Sadly, by the time season three rolled around, the seems were beginning to pop and the edges were beginning to fray.

As the cameras went on and as season three began production, fans were hit with the reality that this season wouldn't be the one they expected--it would be the ended the friendship of all friendships. This would be the season we lost Bethenny and Jill-Dynamic Duo.

The fire between the two erupted as shooting began for the third season and Bethenny, who was just seeing the first perks of her success, was blindsided by a phone call from Jill not-so-calmly explaining she no longer wanted to be in the friendship they had spend year cultivating.

It would take nearly ten years for the friendship to simmer and for the pair to give it another go--with the catalyst sadly being the death of Jill's beloved husband, Bobby Zarin.

This wouldn't be the last time Bethenny let viewers in on the end of a friendship though. In 2018, after an exit and re-return to the Real Housewives of New York franchise, Bethenny had found her new ride-or-die in Carole Radziwill. The two seemed inseparable. They quickly became a fan favorite in terms of Housewife friendships and like Tyra said to Tiffany in season 4 of America's Next Top Model, "We were rooting for you! We were all rooting for you!"

By the time filming for season 10 had rolled around Bethenny had pulled a Jill. Starting off the season somewhat strong, Carole later began to notice a change in Bethenny that she struggled to understand the root of. The feud came to a head at the reunion, where the duo not only competed in multiple shouting matches, but also brought the receipts...on. each. other.

At the end of the day, on-camera break-ups are hard. It doesn't matter if it's a passionate relationship, a long friendship, or a short stint as BFFs on a Housewives franchise. One thing is for sure, we hope these three can work it out...and bring the drama all over again on a future season of Real Housewives of New York's Past. A girl can dream, right??
