Kelly Ripa‘s 18-year-old daughter Lola Grace Consuelos made sure her little brother Joaquin got his Instagram birthday mention – the son to the “Live With Kelly and Ryan” host is 17 years old today.
Mom Kelly took to Instagram and her show to mark the occasion – she joked that she’s “in total denial” – but Joaquin received more than just 49-year-old mom Kelly’s shout-out. Lola took to Instagram on Monday with a photo-heavy post dedicared to her sibling. She also included some stunning beach shots, appearing to be throwbacks from a family gathering the Ripa-Consuelos family attended last year.
Lola’s post was packed. Her opening snap took fans way down memory lane as it showed Lola and Joaquin as young children, with Lola looking adorable as she hugged her likewise-cute sibling.
A quick swipe to the right showed Joqauin solo and posing amid a nature backdrop – this teen has inherited his parents’ good looks. Further photos then took on a beach setting as Lola appeared on sands and at sunset with her brother. Kelly had posted snaps from the featured gathering that included her father-in-law back in 2019.
Lola took to her caption to send her brother her best on his special day.
“Happy birthday to my true best friend. The sweetest, smartest, and funniest kid I know!! WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH QUINO!!!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️17???,” she wrote.
Meanwhile, mom Kelly posted a video gallery of her son over on her Instagram.
“Happy 17th birthday Joaquin!♥️♥️with all my love!
This is your life my newborn, or at least what i have stored on my phone ??????,” she wrote.
The video racked up over 368,000 views in eight hours.
Lola made pretty major headlines earlier this month for calling her parents “repulsive” as they engaged in a pretty NSFW back-and-forth on Instagram. It all started when Kelly posted a boomerang video of her 2020 Oscars dress – complete with footage of longtime and friend and producer Albert Bianchini appearing under her dress.
“Oil change,” Kelly jokingly wrote as fans saw Albert right under her dress.
Mark then swooped in to comment, saying: “Been there.”
Lola was literally grossed out, replying: “Absolutely repulsive.”
Shortly before the Oscars, Lola wound up in the news after Kelly revealed that her teenage girl was spending all kinds of money on pricey Postmates orders while at NYU.
“I didn’t know our daughter had Postmates,” Kelly told her audience.
“She’s at college and we signed her up for a meal plan, cause we’re not monsters. We signed her up for a meal program,” she continued, before adding:
“But you know, she doesn’t like the meals at school so she was ordering Postmates,” she added. “Here’s what would happen. She would order the $7 salad but it would cost $25 dollars to have it delivered three blocks in New York City.”
Oh, we shut down the debit card account, Kelly concluded.
