The latest legal documents, obtained by The Blast, reveal Jamie Spears saying he wants to fully cooperate with Brit’s camp:
“Jamie has nothing to hide regarding his administration of Britney’s estate and will therefore hide nothing. Indeed, Jamie believes that every aspect of the Conservatorship should be made available for public examination – not the targeted leaks and misinformation that have resulted in such tabloid fodder.”
Jamie could just be changing his mind about Britney’s conservatorship just to avoid talking about it, especially surrounding the allegation of bugging her bedroom…Would Spears sit for an actual deposition if it came down to it?
Change of Heart? Or Dodging Answers…
Spears apparently just wants the issue dropped, and is ready to bow out of the conservatorship immediately:
“Accordingly, Jamie affirms that he will unconditionally cooperate in transferring all files regarding the estate to Britney’s counsel without delay. A substantial portion of that transfer has already been accomplished and the process will continue with alacrity until complete.”
Also quoted from the documents, “This conservatorship should end. Now. There is no reason for another second of delay. Jamie is willing to stipulate to the immediate termination of the Conservatorship without reservation or exception.”
Evidence Avoidance?
As we reported earlier today, Britney’s legal team wasn’t just looking for information specific to listening devices, they were, (and still are!) interested in “ALL documents and communications relating to the electronic surveillance, monitoring, cloning, or recording of the activity of Britney Jean Spears’ personal telephone, including but not limited to the surveillance, monitoring, cloning, iCloud mirroring, or recording of calls, emails, text messages, internet browser use or history, and social media use or direct messages on social media.”
However, no one knows with this recent development if those items and answers will ever come to light.
“The fact is that thirteen years ago, a conservatorship was necessary to protect Britney in every sense of the word. Her life was in shambles and she was in physical, emotional, mental and financial distress. Through the Conservatorship, Britney has been able to return to a path towards stability in all of these phases of her life. The mission has been successful and it is now time for Britney to re-take control of her life. Not tomorrow or next week, now.”
End Result?
At this point according to the status report, “Jamie will not continue to serve as Conservator any longer.”
