Megan Thee Stallion is having one HECK of a year. Scratch that, she’s been having one HELL of a career ever since she stepped on the scene with her banger, “Hot Girl Summer.”

The rap star has seen insane success in the few years she’s been in the “biz” and she can add yet another accolade to ever-growing resume.

Megan Thee Stallion, whose real name is Megan Pete, was just named Glamour’s “Woman of the Year!”

The Hot Girl queen of confidence is something many are envious of, but on the other end of that is the queen of confidence boosters.

She’s constantly telling her fans to follow their dreams, don’t let anyone tell you ‘No’ and you most certainly can’t let any negativity stand in your way.

Oh, and we cannot forget that some of it comes from her mamas as well.

“They always taught me self-love,” Meg said of her grandmother and late mother and great-grandmother.

“The always gave me such high praise,” she said. “I could be doing the smallest things, and they would be like, ‘Oh my God, Megan, you tied your shoes so well!’”

In addition to self-love, kindness is another major asset Megan carries with her on a daily basis.

It was her great-grandmother who she fondly called, “Big Mama.”

She painted the perfect picture of Big Mama saying that anyone could be walking by her front door and she’s there giving out food, money, advice.

Meg recalls with a laugh, “She know everybody business. She was so helpful in so many ways.”

And when it comes to business, Megan isn’t messing around.

The confidence she exudes is because she “commands it, I demanded my respect; if I’m showing you how confident I am, then you have no choice but to treat me that way.”

Megan’s words of wisdom: “I’m not looking at y’all when I wake up in the morning. I’m not looking at you in the mirror. I have to do things that make me feel good from the inside and out.”

The “Body” rapper is set to graduate college this year with a degree in health administration, which is a career that is near and dear to her heart.

Her grandmother always wanted her to get into the health industry, and after feeling conflicted about wanting to study business, Megan came to the conclusion to combine them.

She has been taking online courses at Prairie A&M since rising to fame; however, she started her college career here in 2013.

In addition to obtaining a college degree, Megan Thee Stallion is the second female rapper to take home the Grammy for “Best New Artist,” she won four BET Awards, has collaborated with some of the BIGGEST names in the music industry (Beyonce, Cardi B, Ariana Grande, BTS), and most recently she was named “Woman of the Year.”
