Kaia Gerber knocked the cameras dead this weekend, walking one of the most anticipated runway shows of Milan Fashion Week. The 18-year-old model and daughter to Cindy Crawford modeled for Italian designer Versace – the luxury label’s runway was also garced by the likes of Kendall Jenner and Bella Hadid.
Kaia has appeared in new photos from the show, with her look being yet another reminder of why her profile is on the up. Versace outfitted Kaia in a stunning, ’70s-style getup – the barely-there feel also saw Kaia brave yet another braless look.
Kaia’s outfit was earthy-toned and animal-inspired by virtue of an oversized tiger-print coat accessorizing an eye-catching and very tiny mini dress. The black, orange, ochre, and rust-colored number was semi-sheer, covered in beads, and very minimal with its thigh-grazing length. Likewise sexy was a no-bra finish as Kaia walked the runway.
Kaia also wore strappy white sandals with a high heel elongating her super-long legs, plus tortoise-shell shades. Her signature brown bob was slicked to the side, with chunky ear and necklace jewelry also upping the glam.
Kaia may have walked the runway for mega-brands such as Max Mara, Bottega Veneta, and Fendi these past days, but the teen has also been updating her Instagram with her latest i-D feature. Kaia was recently profiled by the magazine, with an unusual and mostly black-and-white photo shoot seeing Kaia channel 1999 movie “Girl, Interrupted” – Kaia readily admitted to embracing her inner Winona Ryder.
Photos from this shoot included a shot of Kaia seated on a bed with soaking-wet hair while winking in an unbuttoned shirt. The model also went sheer in a Prada sweater.
Kaia’s i-D feature showed a level-headed girl speaking about her rising status in the celebrity world. In particular, about not giving many interviews.
“I didn’t want my modeling to be overshadowed by being a celebrity, or being some personality. And also, what can you ask a 16-year-old girl? I didn’t have anything to say two years ago. I had no experience. There’s only so many times I can talk about my beauty routine, or the advice I got from my mum about modeling. It’s boring. I want to do what models do, and that’s modeling,” Kaia stated.
Kaia’s ex Pete Davidson did not find his name mentioned in the feature. The 25-year-old SNL comedian dated Kaia for a few brief months until their mid-January split, with Kaia talking relationships to i-D, but not uttering the ex to Ariana Grande’s name.
“You have to silence the outside world. The only people who know anything about anything are the people in the relationship. The public is very loud, so you have to make your own feelings even louder,” she said about handling relationships while in the public eye.
