After the February 9th Oscar Awards, President Donald Trump came out to criticize the whole thing. According to him, the awards were so bad, and he seemingly couldn’t figure out how Brad Pitt and the South Korean film ‘Parasite‘ won the awards.
Brad Pitt took home the best supporting actor win for his role in ‘Once Upon a Time in Hollywood,’ while ‘Parasite‘ won the best picture. The president took the stage to diss Brad Pitt, calling him ‘a little wise guy.’
The POTUS seems to take the sour trade agreements with South Korea to a whole new level. According to his speech in Colorado on February 20, he expressed disbelief of the fact that the United States had given South Korea the best picture award, despite having trade problems with the country.
Going by the reports from foxbusiness.com, the president termed the trade deal with S. Korea horrible, although the countries revised them in 2018. The revised pact saw S. Korea cut its steel exports to get an exemption on steel tariffs.

In his acceptance speech, Brad went ahead to refer the then POTUS’s impeachment, saying that he had only been given 45 seconds on stage, noting that it was 45 seconds more than what John Bolton had that week.
However, Trump couldn’t take the joke lightly, prompting him to react to the actor’s words at a rally. Trump alleged to have not been a fan of the actor, adding that his statements on stage were a ‘little wiseguy’s’ words, a statement that his audience did not applaud.
Although Brad Pitt’s transparent reference to Donald Trump’s impeachment trial did not receive a harsh reaction from the crowd, the president was audibly booed while responding to Pitt’s action. Fans were not happy about his statements about the actor, although the booing did not stop Trump.
For the best picture film ‘Parasite,’ Trump urged his audience to get back to the likes of ‘Gone with the Wind,’ a 1939 movie release that won the best picture award after being nominated along with 1950’s ‘Sunset Boulevard.’
The 56-year-old actor is not holding back any of his words in the acceptance speech and he is giving the president’s diss no attention. According to a source close to the actor, answering Trump back will be fueling the feud, and he sees no reason for it.
The fire will eventually go nowhere, and Pitt is not ready to take a path that will make him look petty. The source added that a lot of people have in the past talked about the star over different issues, but he always bounces them off and will, in this case, do the same.
