Carrie Underwood has been a famous country singer for the last 15 years. She got her start on the popular singing competition TV show, American Idol and has been on a roll with her music career ever since. How much is she worth now because of her singing career?

Mike Fisher, Underwood's husband since 2010 when they got married in a big wedding in front of 250 of their friends and family in Georgia.

How did Underwood and Fisher first meet?

Underwood's bassist, Mike Childers in her band chose to set the pair up on a blind date in 2008. At first, Underwood was hesitant since she wasn't too fond of dating someone long-distance. After all, she was living in Nashville, Tennessee at the time and Fisher was a hockey player in Canada.

About the blind date, Underwood said during a special in 2012 for Behind the Music, "I mean, can I make dating more difficult? Let’s get a hockey guy who lives in another country. Awesome.”

Although this is what Underwood thought at first, she agreed to meet with him eventually at one of her meet-and-greets. Things ended up going well for them both. Underwood texted Childers and said that Fisher was "hot, hot, hot!"

Fisher apparently said the same thing about her but in different words because he later said that Underwood "was more beautiful in person than on TV." They eventually went on their first date a few months later. After that, they started dating long-distance for a while by having long phone conversations.

At the end of 2009, they were engaged and by 2010, they were married. Although he lived in Canada and she lived in Tennessee at the time, he ended up signing on with the Nashville Predators hockey team and they got a house together in Nashville.

Five years after they got married, they had their first son, Isaiah in 2015. In 2019, Jacob was born.

Although it seems like a fairytale life with these two, things weren't always good. Underwood admitted to having three miscarriages between the births of her two sons.

In fact, after they had Isaiah, she suffered three miscarriages within two years. It messed her up many different ways and she told People, "Of course you wonder if it’s you, what am I doing wrong, or what have I done wrong. I remember having conversations with Mike trying to make sense of it all.”

Although they didn't believe they were ever going to have another child, they were very happy when they found out Jacob was on his way in 2018.

Now, that they have their two sons, they are focusing on raising their two children together while working their different careers.
