The former teen Idol began receiving treatment for his mental health in 2019 after realizing that he couldn’t be in a “healthy and serious” relationship without healing from his past trauma.
Fortunately, the 27-year-old had his wife’s support during this challenging period. The 23-time Teen Choice award winner praised the model for accepting his scars and being patient while working through his problems.
In response to her husband’s gratitude, the blonde beauty humbly stated that she would always be there for the “Yummy” crooner no matter the trials they faced. In her words:
“I was in it. I made a decision. I know for a fact that I’ve loved this person for a very long time and now would not be the time to give up on him. I just wouldn’t do that to him.”
Given her strong convictions, it makes sense that the 24-year-old wished to start a family with the Canadian star. The “Drop The Mic” star admitted that the young couple had been contemplating their future goals for a while.
“We always talked about wanting to be married and be young, and have a young family, and have kids young,” the model explained.
The couple previously opened up about their baby plans on the documentary “Justin Bieber: Our World.” They stated they would begin family planning at the end of 2021.
