Jessica Simpson‘s jaw-dropping weight loss was on full show this weekend as the singer, actress, and author posed for yet another outfit of the day snap – the 39-year-old’s Instagram has been steadily documenting her stylish and designer-filled wardrobe as she traverses the U.S. on her “Open Book” tour. The head-turning looks have even earned themselves a hashtag: #OpenBookLooks.
Jessica may have made headlines galore this year as her memoir candidly documents her childhood sexual abuse, alcohol and pills addiction, and relationship history, but the blonde’s 100-pound weight loss is still a talking point.
Jessica updated her Instagram on Saturday. The photo showed the “Dukes of Hazzard” actress posing on an outdoor balcony wrapped by white fencing, with green grass behind the star backing onto a beautiful and very visible rainbow.
Jessica herself was looking stunning. She was posing in a hot pink pantsuit showing off her slim waist, with a black, low-cut, and mesh top upping the ante as she flashed a little cleavage. Statement dark shades and a black bag completed the duo-toned look.
Jessica had taken to her caption to mention the rainbow behind her.
“Create & Cultivate Rainbow! ? I can’t wait to see all of you for my keynote!,” she wrote.
The caption pertains to the December 7 news that Jessica will be the keynote speaker at the Create & Cultivate Los Angeles Conference – and it’s today.
Fans were loving it.
“Love love this outfit! Where is the shirt from?” one asked.
“That outfit though. ?,” another added.
Jessica had opted out of tagging any brands in her update, but previous looks from the star’s book tour have included high-end labels such as Fendi – the star rocked a $4,000 trench coat from the luxury Italian designer earlier this year.
Jessica lost her 100 pounds over six months following the March 2019 birth of her third baby – a girl named Birdie. The star’s celebrity trainer, Harley Pasternak spoke to Hollywood Life about his client’s weight loss, specifically mentioning her diet and exercise.
“She would eat one whole egg and three egg whites for breakfast, scrambled with a bowl of blackberries. For lunch she would have a salad with grilled chicken and grilled fish with salad and vegetables for dinner. As for snacks, she would have almonds and sometimes green beans with Parmesan cheese on top. She was very disciplined,” he told the media outlet.
Jessica’s weight loss journey also included keeping active, with the star walking up to 10,000 steps per day to help burn the calories.
Harley also revealed that Jessica had cut down on her sugar intake.
“So you get lean in life and strong in the gym. So those are the principles in and on top of that, it’s this low sugar lifestyle is essential. And luckily Jessica’s predication is more to savory food and Tex Mex flavoring,” he added.
Jessica has opted out of the celebrity-adored bikini weight loss trend, but there’s no denying that her whittled-down frame has gotten noticed.
