Wendy Williams has been under fire recently for her tasteless remarks surrounding the murder of Drew Carey’s ex-fiance, and her verbal attack towards the LGBTQ community.
Last month, the talk-show host even attacked Joaquin Phoenix for his cleft chin.
Needless to say, Williams has been receiving a lot of backlash since the start of 2020.
But, it looks like her love life is doing better than ever. The 55-year-old is reportedly in a relationship with celebrity jeweler, William Selby.
Here’s everything we know about their rumored relationship:
William Selby, who’s also known as “Big Will” and “Will Da Boss” was born in 1977, making him at least 12 years younger than Ms. Williams.
Selby is a well-known celebrity jeweler, based in New York City. He established his jewelry business, DWS Jewelry & Co. in 2008. Since then, he’s created pieces for Drake, 50 Cent, and even Rick Ross.
Williams and Selby sparked dating rumors in January after she posted a photo wearing one of his chains.
Williams recently posted a picture of the two looking cozy at a recording studio with Blac Papi.
We’re not 100% sure how long they’ve been together, but the two have reportedly known each other for a while. And it looks like their relationship is heating up quickly!
They recently attended the Spotify x Cash Money premiere of the new documentary, “New Cash Order.”
Williams and Selby even spent the super bowl and Valentine’s Day together, with Big Will gifting his lady a heart-shaped necklace to celebrate the romantic day.
But even though the two seem happy, neither has officially confirmed the romance.
Last month, Williams finalized her divorce with ex-husband, Kevin Hunter.
“After nine months, yes, I am fully divorced. A door has closed. An old life. The new chapter has been so lovely,” she said during “The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon.”
Williams and Hunter married in 1997 and had their son, Kevin Hunter Jr., in 2000. In April 2019, Wendy’s rep confirmed the star filed for divorce after learning Kevin fathered a child with another woman.
After 22 years of marriage, the two are officially done. And although neither has to pay alimony, Williams kept her $1 million life insurance policy that will go to Hunter if she dies.
The good news is, Wendy’s staying positive amid her divorce.
“I’m not mad. It was 25 years I don’t regret, but, you know what, sometimes people move on with their lives, and I have to tell you something. I now, I no longer live in Jersey. It is Wendy in the city,” Williams shared with Jimmy Fallon.
Now that she’s single, the media personality isn’t wasting any time getting back out there!
It’s too early to tell if the relationship with Selby will last forever, but if not, we’re sure Wendy will be just fine.
