Some people are just meant to do big things and everybody knows it. If anyone has done big things with their life, it’s definitely former Suits actor Meghan Markle.
Meghan has gone from Hollywood actor to blogger to activist to duchess. She married into the Royal Family and then decided to step right back out of it and both are historic! While Meghan’s timeline might seem shocking to some, those that knew here seem to think this was always how things would turn out.
A former co-star of Meghan Markle’s recently opened up about their time together on set and revealed they always believed the former Suits actor would become royalty some day.
Howie Mandel hosted Deal Or No Deal when Duchess Meghan performed as a suitcase girl on the game show. Mandel says that he used to bow to Meghan during commercial breaks, which she never understood. He told her she would someday … and it looks like he might have been right, after all!
Mandel was obviously right that Meghan would someday become a part of the Royal Family. But he probably could not have foreseen the Duchess of Sussex’s shocking exit from Buckingham Palace in January of this year.
Meghan has technically only been royalty for a couple of years since her wedding to Prince Harry — that reign will end April 1 when she and Prince Harry officially step down from their run as senior members of Buckingham Palace and work to become independent.
For now, the Duchess of Sussex seems content to be living a simple life with her husband and infant son, Archie Harrison. Sources say Duchess Meghan is very happy in Canada as she lived there while filming Suits and is familiar with the area.
Reports say Meghan is glad to running her own errands and cooking her family’s meals as she never liked being waited on by palace staff. She reportedly likes spending time doing yoga and going on long walks with Harry, Archie, and their two dogs.
Fans of the Sussexes like to imagine that Meghan could someday become Hollywood royalty again and that she could even serve as an actual Disney princess. Reports say the duchess is considering a return to acting and that Prince Harry supports this idea.
The Duke of Sussex talked up Disney boss Bob Iger at the England premiere of The Lion King to secure his wife a gig providing voiceover work for the company. Though Meghan’s project will not be a fantasy princess story, but one featuring elephants.
