'The Bold And Beautiful' Star Has Been Married for Years, Fans Are Shocked

Since 2013, Lawerence Saint-Victor has been a familiar face on "The Bold and The Beautiful" series as a corporate lawyer named Carter Walton. In the soap opera, Saint-Victor's character is the handsome and trusted lawyer of the Forrester family and Rick Forrester's best friend.

Walton is also one character that is not lacking in romantic partners; whether it's an affair, a courtship, or even an engagement, he has been the centerpiece of countless.

His latest feat is a sordid affair with Quinn, who is married. Even though Walton has never actually walked down the aisle, his proximity to marriage is as close as ever because of his role as a wedding officiant for Forrester creations.

Saint-Victor's character, Carter Walton, came into the series as Marcus Walton's brother, who the Forresters adopted. The first of his rather complicated string of romantic relationships was with Maya Avant. Walton was involved with Avant for a while, enough to get engaged until she moved on Rick Forrester, which angered him and ended the relationship.

After the split, Walton immersed himself in work; then, he met Zoe Buckingham. Walton seems to be a magnet for women already involved with other men because Buckingham had her eye on someone else like Maya. She was eventually jilted at the alter, and Walton swooped in to make his move.

Walter and Buckingham's relationship grew until they eventually got engaged. Their relationship was soon jeopardized when she started having an affair with Walton's friend, Zende Forrester. The engagement was called off, and Walton once more dove headfirst into his work.

His third entanglement was with Quinn, a friend of Buckingham who she asked to help beg Walton. The two ended up having sex even though Quinn was a married woman, which further murked things. Walton and Buckingham eventually got back together until she found out about the affair and left the relationship for good.

Saint-Victor embodies tall, dark and handsome, but please add 'happily married' to the mix. This 39-year-old, unlike his "The Bold and The Beautiful" double, has been married for 14 years. He got hitched to Shay Flake as far back as 2007, and they currently have a 3-year-old son.

His wife, Flake, is currently pursuing a music career but was once into acting. In 2008 she starred in "Cain's Mark" and was in a video shoot for "The Social Engineer" in 2016.

She also acted as an intimacy double in "The Bold and The Beautiful," for Zoe Buckingham in 2020. This was done to follow the coronavirus protocols on set while making the kissing scene look more realistic.

The couple just celebrated their 14th-year together, and though we can't say the same for Carter Walton, Lawerence Saint-Victor is living and loving the married life.

Saint-Victor met Flake while in school. He studied and got his degree in Fine Arts from The Conservatory of Theatre Arts and Film at SUNY Purchase in New York.

This college program was different from others because the students were to remain in one class throughout their four years of study. It allowed a lot of familiarities, which ensured a safe space to work on themselves.

In an Essence interview, the 6'2" family man said they had an instant connection, and it was "friendship at first sight."

"We tried to deny it for a while, especially around other people, but it quickly became undeniable that we were the ones for each other," Flake told Essence. The couple became even closer and decided to add business partners to their labels.

Saint-Victor is not only an actor; he also doubles as a writer. He was one of the creators of the web series "Wed-Locked" and "Room 8." He didn't stop there, as he was involved in writing several episodes of "The Bold and The Beautiful."

In the couple's Essence interview, Flake admitted that many women have had their eyes on her husband even from their early days together in college.

However, it didn't bother her; she told the news outlet that she has faith in the love they share and feels safe in her marriage regardless of the attention her husband gets.

Flake admitted that whenever she sees her husband, she doesn't see a "big soap hunk," she sees something much more than that. "As much as he is good-looking, he is also a really big dork.
