It is no secret that President Trump is an opinionated man; so win 'Parasite' won the Oscar for best picture, he had a few things to say about it. At one of his rallies, he mocked the best picture winner by saying "How bad were the Academy Awards this year?" he asked the crowd, according to The Hollywood Reporter. "And the winner is ... a movie from South Korea! What the he-- was that all that about? We've got enough problems with South Korea, with trade. On top of that, they give them the best movie of the year."

he then continued to go on and on about classic films from the past such as 'Gone with the Wind", which in fairness is a wonderful movie. President Trump also admitted to not seeing 'Parasite' by saying ""Was it good? I don't know," he admitted. "Let's get 'Gone with the Wind' back, please? 'Sunset Boulevard.' So many great movies." After expressing his outrage about a foreign film winning such an important Oscar he then moved on to discussing his dislike of Brad Pitt.

Parasite's distribution company Neon was quick to fire back at Trump with this short quick witted Twitter response "Understandable, he can't read." This proves that his opinion matters little to the creative people who collaborated to create the world first non-english film to win best picture. While I admire their fire, the film's distribution company were not the only people to fire back at Trump for his negative comments about the film that depicts the life of two families at both ends of the class spectrum.

None other than the outstanding, awe inspiring Bette Midler, who is critic of Donald Trump took to twitter on Friday stating that ""At his rally, #Trump complained about #Parasite winning the Oscar," she wrote. "I’m more upset that a parasite won the White House." Bette has never been a fan of Trump nor has he ever been a fan of hers but no one can deny that Midler is unafraid to speak her truth when it comes to politics and unwarranted criticism.

Trump also attempted to put Brad Pitt on blast for his acceptance speech at the Oscars; in which Pitt used his 45 seconds to speak out against the Republican senators that wouldn't allow democrats to call new witnesses to the stand at Trump's impeachment trial in the senate.

Brad Pitt much like Bette Midler was not afraid to speak up by saying: "They told me I only have 45 seconds up here, which is 45 seconds more than the Senate gave John Bolton this week,” Pitt said. “I’m thinking maybe Quentin [Tarantino] does a movie about it. In the end, the adults do the right thing.”
