Gwen Stefani keeps her word to charity

Back in 2018, Gwen booked a residency at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas. At the time, she pledged to make a one dollar donation to the “Cure 4 The Kids Foundation.”

At the end of last month, Gwen delivered a $185,000.00 check to the charity.

‘Cure 4 The Kids’ is a foundation that provides medical treatment to children facing life-threatening conditions like cancer.

This organization has been near and dear to her heart since the start of her residency, She’s made several visits to the medical center since 2018.

According to People, the singer’s donations have helped the foundation move into a state-of-the-art building. There's even a special themed patient exam room inspired in her honor.

She was also given the Cure 4 The Kids Foundation Philanthropist of the Year Award in 2019.

Her residency was set to end in 2020, but given the Coronavirus pandemic, it was extended to November 2021.

Her ‘Just A Girl’ Vegas show will end on Saturday, November 6.

Gwen’s big heart may have started rubbing off on her husband, country singer Blake Shelton.

The “Voice” coach opened up about how marriage to his wife has made him “softer.”

The Blast previously reported on the singer admitting he’s become sweeter since marrying the pop singer.

Last month, Shelton offered a new coach, Ariana Grande, a box of tissues in the first battle round of “The Voice.”

His other co-judges, Kelly Clarkson and John Legend were STUNNED to see Shelton make such a grand and tender gesture.

Typically, the country singer is focused on his own success on the series. Clearly, things have changed.

Handing the tissues to Grande he said, “I've been thinkin' about you. After this season you won't ever need these again. You'll get over it. You'll become callous like us three."

"This is so sweet," said Grande, as Clarkson, chimed in with shock, "That's a nice gesture," and Legend added, "Look at this guy. There is a heart in there."

This is where Shelton’s big admission came out.

"Look, I'm married now. I'm soft. I'm getting softer," he admitted.

Shelton has won the competition series seven times, and noted that he was excited to beat Grande.

The “God is a Woman” singer took over the coaching position for Nick Jonas earlier this year.
