Chrissy Teigen is known as a model, for her role on Lip Sync Battle, as John Legend's wife, but maybe best of all - as Luna and Miles' mom. The star is a big presence on Instagram, posting moments from she and her children's everyday lives like any other person. She's down-to-earth and wonderfully real online, much in the way many other celebrities are not. She can laugh at herself and loves interacting with followers - except when followers get nasty.

Chrissy is known for posting any and everything. If you are one of her 28 million followers on Instagram (or her 12 million on Twitter), you are privy to the tiniest details of her life that she has no shame over-sharing. All she has qualms about posting is pictures that Luna and Miles, in the future, would want to keep private. “There’s nothing that happens that we really feel we can’t post,” Chrissy said, according to Net-A-Porter. "We don’t want to post pictures of the kids that they may see in ten years and be embarrassed by, but that’s it.”

One thing that gets her followers riled up is when she posts pictures and/or videos of Luna and Miles while they're eating. Specifically, when they're eating meat. “Any time I post a picture of them holding ribs or eating sausage, I get a lot of criticism,” she said. “Vegans and vegetarians are mad and feel that we forcing meat upon them at a young age. They freak out.” There's no way of keeping everyone happy, though, and Chrissy doesn't try.

That's not all that upsets her followers, though. There is more to gripe about - as is always the case with outsiders looking in through the lens of Instagram. “If they get a glimpse of the car seat there is a lot of buckle talk,” she said. “Maybe for one half of a second, the strap slipped down. And TV is another big one. We have TV on a lot in my house. John and I work on television; we love watching television.”

No one parent is perfect; that's an undeniable fact. Yet for some reason, people expect celebrities to rise above that philosophy and be somehow better than the masses. That's simply not the case, though, and Chrissy is perfectly aware of that - and okay with it, too. She and John's parenting life is a lot like everyone else's. “We’re not pretending that life is perfect,” she said. “I’m not the person who goes to work and posts the glam photos.”

With two kids now, Chrissy has the hang of being both a girl mom and a boy mom, and is a pro at the baby and toddler stage. She doesn't freak out over the small stuff anymore. “When Luna was a little baby, I would get so sad. I remember being bummed out because I felt like she didn’t love me as much as she loved John,” she told Today Parents. “It was the dumbest silliest thing to worry about… Now, when Miles pulls away from me, I’m not taking it the same way. I know how strong Luna and my bond is, and I know Miles and I will be there too. You can’t take anything personally.” And she doesn't take anything personally - including the drivel from mom-shamers everywhere.
