The holiday season is cooking at the household of Jesse Tyler Ferguson, and he cannot wait to be reunited with his loved ones for the celebrations.
The actor spread holiday cheer with the public by dishing on Christmas recipes and traditions.
The “Modern Family” star also opened up about his holiday plans for his son Beckett who he shares with spouse Justin Mikita.
Jesse Tyler Ferguson Says Being Together With Family Is Important

After being isolated in 2020, Ferguson cannot wait to be surrounded by family in the coming holiday season.
The 46-year-old told PEOPLE that his mom and her first grandson hung out last Christmas via FaceTime.
Ferguson added that he has moved to Los Angeles, which makes his mom closer in proximity to his mom and Mikita’s family.
The father-of-one told the magazine that this Christmas might not be as big as the one they had in 2018, but the actor emphatically mentioned:
“we’ll be together. And that’s really important for us.”
The actor’s love for togetherness impacted his recent partnership with No Kid Hungry and Ocean Spray for their #BetterTogether campaign.
This campaign marks the opportunity for US citizens to enjoy more traditional holidays due to the vaccine spread.
Through the collaboration, the actor made festive care packages for 50 schools in the US to reduce child hunger. Ferguson added:
“instilling the attributes of giving back and being charitable when you’re in a position where you can do that is really important for me to pass along to Beckett.”

Besides teaching the importance of helping the less fortunate, Ferguson and Mikita have more holiday traditions to share with their one-year-old.
Ferguson noted to the magazine that he was not very religious. However, his household staple was receiving pajamas from his parents on Christmas eve and putting out his fifth-grade holiday decorations.
As for their holiday food menu, they switch things up with Mexican food such as tamales and enchiladas featuring “Christmas style” red and green chilis.
Ferguson said Beckett “has very good taste” and prefers adult-friendly food. The toddler chose the pasta and carbonara sauce his parents had one night over kid-friendly Cheerios.
It seems like the Ferguson-Mikita family is up for an unforgettable holiday season!
The “Modern Family” Star Clapped Back At Hypocritical Troll

Ferguson taught an internet user an unforgettable class on avoiding double standards after he and Mikita announced the birth of Beckett on Instagram.
The Blast reported that People Magazine had shared the couple’s photo, detailing that they were thrilled to welcome their son Beckett Mercer Ferguson-Mikita on Instagram.
A troll entered the comments to write, “What a stupid name seriously lol.” Ferguson pointed out the troll’s hypocrisy with a reply that read:
“If we can just all get along as one nation” — you four Instagram posts ago. Sending love to you sir from us and Beckett.”[sic]
You don’t mess with Papa Beckett and get away with it, so Ferguson went to the troll’s original post.
The father-of-one wrote, “Remember when you told me my son had a stupid name? Lol. I guess this Sentiment faded fast.” The star then sent the bitter troll love from him and his son.
