After her debut as a teen idol, the pop star has achieved worldwide media attention for her skills as a singer-songwriter. Now, the 31-year-old's talents have been recognized by the legendary songstress Carole King.
As reported by ET, the 20th-century megastar was inducted into the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame for the second time.
This memorable occasion was commemorated with a mind-blowing performance by Swift that melted King's heart.
Taylor Swift Moved King To Tears With A Touching Tribute
The 36th annual Rock and Roll Hall of Fame event at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland was indeed a magical occasion that brought two talented women closer together.
The "Blank Space" crooner blessed the 79-year-old icon with a beautiful rendition of her famous song, "Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow?" that moved King to tears and she proudly gushed to the news outlet, saying:
"Well, Taylor was perfect, because first of all, she's a very talented songwriter, and she writes her own music and lyrics."
Alongside the 31-year-old's emotional performance of the icon's song, the pop star gave a surprising speech about the four-time Grammy award winner's impact on the industry. Swift said:
"I cannot remember a time when I didn't know Carole King's music," the "ME!" singer explained, "I was raised by two of her biggest fans, who taught me the basic truths of life as they saw it."
These truths impacted by the idol's parents were centered around her treating people the way she wished to be treated and believing that nothing was impossible to achieve. The last fact stated that King remained the "greatest songwriter of all time."

During her vote of thanks speech at the induction ceremony, the icon praised the rising star for her breathtaking performance and hailed the 11-time Grammy award-winner for "carrying the torch forward."
After the event, the 79-year-old revealed to ET that she shared similar characteristics to Swift in terms of their music.
The "Really Rosie" star stated that they use their songs to discuss "timeless things," such as tackling the emotions attributed to relationships and their endings.
The icon explained that the 31-year-old "kept things real" with her music and private life despite it being a difficult feat to achieve.
Perhaps the pop star will also be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame like her idol and fellow female icons, Stevie Nicks and Tina Turner.
