Another day, another drama unfolding in the epic saga of the Sussexes departure from the royal family. On Tuesday, Queen Elizabeth II announced that she would no longer allow Meghan Markle and Prince Harry to use the word royal in their branding.

Many were quite happy with this, as many British citizens felt the Queen should stand firm when it comes to the Sussexes trying to take a half-in, half out approach to the royal family.

There is nothing wrong with them wanting to step back as senior royals, but they should not be allowed to have it both ways, especially when it comes to public funding.

Meghan Isn't Happy About Losing The Word 'Royal'

While many would assume that what the Queen says, goes, Meghan Markle clearly doesn't see things as such.

A source has recently spoken to The Daily Mail about Meghan's feelings on the whole thing, and she's not happy about it apparently.

The source claimed Meghan is telling her friends that nothing is "legally" stopping her and Prince Harry from using the word royal in their "Sussex Royal" brand.

Yikes! That sounds a bit like she is beginning to stir things up. With the Queen being so used to everyone following her commands, this will most likely appear as the kind of defiance she isn't accustomed to. What will she think of this?

The source claimed Meghan thinks the use of the word royal "shouldn't even be an issue in the first place and it's not like they want to be in the business of selling T-shirts and pencils."

They continued, "Meghan said she's done with the drama and has no room in her life for naysayers, and the same goes for Harry."

It appears as if Meghan wants to do her own thing and ignore the commands of anyone telling her what to do, especially the people at Buckingham Palace.

However, stirring up conflict with the royal family is not recommended.

The Couple Have Claimed They Want To Protect The Royal Name

The Queen's decision clearly didn't agree with Meghan and the source told The Daily Mail, "Meghan said the global projects they are working on speak for themselves and they chose that name to protect the royal name, not profit off of it."

Is this really true though? The couple have claimed they want to do good, and work on charitable projects but so far they don't appear to have done much except for profit off their name.

For example, Prince Harry's recent speech at an event sponsored by JP Morgan, attended by some of the world's wealthiest people.

Meghan Is Wielding Her Power Position

Clearly, the couple have big plans, and the ever-ambitious Meghan is wielding her power with an iron fist.

The source continued, "Meghan has told her inner circle that their success is inevitable with or without their current brand name. She said regardless of the name, Harry and Archie have royal blood and no one can take that away. And that as a family, they will always be considered royalty."

If that is truly how she feels, it all sounds a bit crass and somewhat insecure. We'll have to wait and see what the couple actually plan on doing with their name.

Will they profit off their position and become nothing but celebrities or do some good in the world with charities? Only time will tell.
