Even though Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s exit was a big blow to the royal family, Prince Charles and Prince William have probably learned a valuable lesson from the unexpected withdrawal. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s announcement caught everyone in the family by surprise, and they are still trying to fix things following the departure.
Prince Charles and William recently visited the Defense Medical Rehabilitation Center where for the first time they expressed affection in public, an aspect believed to have been learned from Harry and Meghan.
While the display of affection remains at minimal for most royals, Prince Harry and Meghan always went a notch higher and were not afraid to make quick embraces, hold hands, or lovingly place hands on each other’s shoulder.
Prince Charles and William made their first attempt when Prince William made shots of a basketball from a wheelchair. He made several shots but was unfortunately unlucky in all, prompting his dada to rub his shoulder in encouragement, a thing that got fans talking.
The interaction between Prince Charles and his son may appear an ordinary occurrence between a dad and son, although people believe it is a whole new thing, and probably a decision that the family resolved.
The royal commentator noted it and went ahead to question if it ever occurred before, where Ms. Tominey confirmed it was completely new, adding that it is interesting since PDAs are known for Harry and Meghan. Tominey wondered if the royal family has learned something, and suggested they are trying to project themselves as a family unit.
Before the Megxit, the royal family had still lost one member of the senior royals, although it was not a withdrawal case. Prince Andrew was forced to step down after a controversy where he was accused of sexually harassing Jeffrey Epstein.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were set to resume to their roles in 2020, although it turns out their engagements will significantly drop having stepped back. Queen Elizabeth II is, however, still tasked with picking out the individuals to take the roles from which Harry and Meghan stepped down.
As senior royals, Prince Harry and Meghan held roles which the Queen is yet to choose who to step up to them. Prince Charles and Prince William are minding their business and have not dropped any comments about the Megxit.
However, there are talks which seem to indicate Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie are to receive the promotions. The Queen has, yet, not made any announcement, with further speculations indication Princess Anne is also set to take up a title.
