In a recent interview with Hot Ones, a talk show where guests answer progressively intimate questions while eating progressively spicy wings, guest Will Ferrell revealed a surprising fact about his experience working on the classic comedy movie Old School. In the film, Will Ferrell played Frank, an old school party animal who, in one scene, gets very intoxicated and goes streaking on a public road. This made for one of the funniest and most memorable scenes in the movie, but Will Ferrell says that he actually was drunk when he shot the scene.

While on Hot Ones, hosted by Sean Evans, the Saturday Night Live alum addressed rumors stating that he got drunk during his streaking scene in order to muster up the courage to be naked in front of Snoop Dogg, who made a cameo in the film. “No, I actually didn’t,” Ferrell said. “In between takes, it took so long to get Snoop Dogg out of his trailer as he was smoking and playing video games that out of boredom I just started drinking.”

Along with his revelations about Old School, the comedian also revealed some interesting facts about another previous movie, Anchorman, revealing that the original plot of the film was going to be something completely different than what it actually ended up being. “It was going to be a movie about newsmen meets the movie Alive where they have to survive in the mountains,” Ferrell said. “And it was all about trying to survive and get down the mountain while being stalked by chimpanzees with Chinese throwing stars. Needless to say, Hollywood said no.”

Amidst the discussions about his past movies, Will Ferrell also reflected on how he kept props from movies he's been on, revealing that his favorite and most prized of them being the prosthetic testicles from his movie Step Brothers. “Definitely top one, top two,” Ferrell says when asked if the testicles are in his top five favorites. “I keep ’em in a little trophy case. Like, you know, proper like you’d see sports memorabilia. Like, you’d put a signed baseball in like a plastic [case].”

Ferrell, who got his comedic start as a Saturday Night Live cast member, has been in several raunchy comedies that have defined his career and comedic style. With hits such as Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy (2004), Step Brothers (2008), and Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby (2006), Ferrell has cemented himself as a comedy star of his own outside of his days at SNL. However, Old School (2003) was the movie that gave audiences the taste of just how funny Will Ferrell could be as a free character on his own.
