Gwen Stefani has been living the ultimate dream of any popstar; performing at her very own Vegas residency, taking place at the Zappos Theatre inside of Planet Hollywood.

On Wednesday night, the crowd was surprised with more than just a spectacular performance from the queen Gwen Stefani herself. Blake Shelton, boyfriend but also a country music superstar, appeared from side stage in order to perform his duet with Stefani, Nobody But You, which they performed together on the Grammy stage just a few days prior.

Surprising the crowd wasn't the only thing that Stefani had up her sleeve. She started speaking out to the crowd: "I was thinking about just the weirdness of my whole life and career," she said right before Shelton arrived on stage. "It doesn't feel like a career, it feels like a life. And then I was looking on iTunes this morning and I'm number one on the country chart, so I just thought that was like, kind of incredible."

At this moment, Shelton rose from an elevator to the top of the stars, and their duet started.

The couple has been going strong since 2015, going as far as becoming one big happy family.

Blake Shelton was previously married to Miranda Lambert, another country singer, but they divorced right before he met Stefani in 2015, after a four year marriage that seemed to have significantly more downs than up's. He has no kids.

Stefani and Shelton met originally while working on the popular musical television show The Voice, both acting as judges and coaches to the competitors.

Meanwhile, only a month after Shelton had filed for divorce from Lambert citing irreconcilable differences, Stefani followed in those footsteps. She also cited irreconcilable differences and divorced her ex, Gavin Rossdale, whom she shares three children with.

Even though these two future lovebirds had never met, they were able to freely navigate their love life at the exact same convenient time. They started working together in April in 2014 and after many flirtatious rendezvous on national television, they started dating less than a year later.

Gwen Stefani was back performing in Vegas after an illness kept her offstage for multiple shows. She has two more shows this month, February 21 and February 22nd.

Meanwhile, Blake Shelton is still a judge (and fierce competitor) on hit show The Voice. This time he returns without Stefani, instead of alongside John Legend, Kelly Clarkson, and newcomer Nick Jonas. "Don't, don't start this interview expecting us to celebrate Nick Jonas because let's face it, he's a nice guy, but he's competition," he said.
