Despite successful actors and actresses bathing in the spotlight and fame, people forget that they're just like everyone else. Breaking into Hollywood and the entertainment industry is very difficult, just ask anyone who has made it big time. It requires aspiring actors and actresses to hold other jobs while they wait for their big break.

Surprisingly, though, a number of actors and actresses held jobs in the food and beverage industry prior to landing major roles in film and television and here are a few of them.

A sandwich artist is the title given the employees who make the sandwiches for customers. Margo Robbie claims that she took the job because she had such a knack for making a tasty meal.

During a segment on the YouTube Channel 'Hot Ones' Robbie explained, "I think I was really good at it though, because I, you know, would really spread everything out to the edges evenly — the right amount of everything." Rachel McAdams got her first job working for the fast-food chain, McDonald's, where she maintained the position for three years. McAdams claims that she wasn't the best employee, though. "I was not a great employee; I broke the orange juice machine one day," she said in 2012.

She later added that her OCD tendencies, which included constantly washing her hands, meant that she wasn't always at the counter taking orders from the customers, and thus not doing her job to the best of her ability. But she still maintains that working at McDonald's is a great opportunity for people and encourages others to give it a shot.
