Though Hussle passed in March of last year, London has remained dedicated to preserving his legacy, and remembering the man she loved. Sadly, this isn't the first time since Hussle's passing that London has had to deal with insensitive comments. Shortly after his death, rapper Kodak Black was slammed in the media for offering to "wait for" London. Fellow musicians, fans, and those close to the couple came forward to address the comment, calling the gesture "disrespectful"and "in poor taste".

Support for London was so strong that Los Angeles radio station, Power 106, decided to boycott Black's music in light of his remarks. The stark backlash served as a powerful warning, helping to deter other potential suitors from coming forward. While London is still grieving her loss, she looks back fondly on the time she shared with the love of her life. The relationship between London and Hussle originally began back in 2013 when the pair started dating. The two remained happily together until Hussle was gunned down in front of his Los Angeles clothing store, "Marathon Clothing".

At the time of his death, Hussle was only 33 years old. He leaves behind his partner, Lauren London, and the couples two young children, Emani and Kross. Upon hearing the news of his passing, thousands of people took to the streets of South Los Angeles, tearfully paying tribute to the late philanthropist and rapper. In a funeral procession that spanned 25 miles, many were able to show their respect, grieving alongside London and her children. Though it doesn't seem that London will be dating anytime soon, her future seems bright considering the public out pouring of love and support.
