Disney+ Has More Entertainment Coming In March!

Disney+ has more entertainment on the way. Just months after it’s debut, the streaming service is gearing up to debut additional shows for its millions of subscribers. The on-demand, ad free streaming service launched on November 12, 2019. Upon it’s launching, the media conglomerate welcomed more than ten million subscribers.

According to Variety.com, analysts initially predicted the streaming service would have an upwards of eight million subscribers by the end of 2019. The announcement of the entertainment giant exceeding the projection came a day after launching early. Disney, a renowned family-friendly company—has since acquired other entertainment film companies—offering its subscribers a variety of shows to watch.

Acquisitions of media giants Pixar (2006), Marvel Entertainment (2009), Lucasfilm (2012), National Geographic (2019), and 21st Century Fox (2019) allows the streaming platform to provide viewers with a wide range of movies to choose from. At launch, Disney+ offered monthly subscribers access to over 500 movies and 7,500 episodes.

Shows ranging from Disney classics like ‘Lady and the Tramp’, to ‘High School Musical’ to the box office trilogy, ‘Pirates of the Caribbean are currently offered. The platform even houses all 30 seasons of ‘The Simpsons’, several ‘Star Wars’ films and the highly anticipated Star Wars series ‘The Mandalorian’ from creator Jon Favreau.

However, there will be more movies added to the unlimited library of entertainment. Library titles like Marvel’s ‘Black Panther’ and new show ‘Bedtime Stories’ produced by actor and director, Adam Sandler will also be available. The full calendar and synopses for the episodes are accessible for Disney+ original shows like Diary of a Future President, reality shows like Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings and Shop Class, along with the final season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Ava Duvernay’s box office hit, A Wrinkle In Time. Stargirl, the YA film adaptation is also scheduled to be unveiled.
