You might have been surprised to learn that KISS rocker Gene Simmons is actually a “Star Wars” fan. At a recent question and answer panel, he recently backed Gina Carano after she was fired by Lucasfilm, labeling her a victim of cancel culture.

It seems that Simmons is not the only celebrity to be a fan of the iconic space opera, as Lizzo recently appeared as one of the most beloved characters to emerge from “The Mandalorian.”

Lizzo Dressed Up As Baby Yoda

Although fans now know that Baby Yoda’s official name is actually Grogu, it hasn’t stopped him from becoming one of the cutest creatures in a galaxy far, far away.

Lizzo decided to share her love of the little green Force-sensitive when she dressed as the child for Halloween this year.

“CEO OF [pleading-face emoji] FOR HALLOWEEN,” she captioned the pic. “GROGU LOVE MACAROONIS.”

In the photo, she can be seen chowing down on some blue macaroons, reminiscent of the space cookies that Baby Yoda steals from another child in the episode titled “Chapter 12: The Siege,” which is season 2, episode 4 of “The Mandalorian” if you have nothing better to stream this Halloween.

Dessa wrote “Wowwwww,” while LaMona Divine added, “Hahah i love u so much.”

Lizzo Outs Herself As A ‘Star Wars’ Buff

In a later post that shows Baby Yoda out on the town, Lizzo wrote, “A representative from Grogu’s publicity team has issued a statement regarding the paparazzi photos taken last night:

‘Grogu aka Baby Yoda aka The Child has no recollection of these events. In fact, these events never happened *jedi hand wave*’”

It looks like Baby Yoda’s Force powers are developing faster than we thought if he is already learning how to do Jedi mind tricks!

“This is my fave Halloween costume I’ve ever seen,” one fan commented, while another added, “i can't even tell that's lizzo.”

Baby Yoda Takes Hollywood By Storm

If that wasn’t enough, Lizzo also shared a video of her walking around the streets of Hollywood, taking selfies with fans, and performing as Baby Yoda.

The song that plays in the background of the video is a score composed by John Williams for the original 1977 “Star Wars” film “A New Hope” and can be heard being played by the Cantina Band in Mos Eisley.

“GROGU TAKES HOLLYWOOD,” Lizzo wrote. “GROGU JUST WANNA SAY… LAST NIGHT IF U SAW GROGU… NO YOU DIDN’T.”

Gina Knight wrote “Imagine just taking a selfie with Lizzo not knowing it’s Lizzo!!” while another fan shared “Lizzo trolling the city is the best thing to happen this Halloween.”

One fan wrote, “Guy who took a selfie doesn’t even know how lucky he is” alongside a few laughing-face emojis.

“I think is the most iconic thing I have ever seen,” another fan added.

“the beauty, the brains! the creativity?! we are not worthy!” said another.

Considering how many fans are claiming that they love her even more now, it seems Lizzo knows her fanbase well. Perhaps Lizzo can get a cameo in a future “Star Wars” project?

With Hayden Christensen making his return to Disney+ live-action shows “Kenobi” and “Ahsoka,” and with “Andor” on the way, as well as the Patty Jenkins directed 2023 film “Rogue Squadron,” there are plenty of opportunities for Lizzo to make an appearance in a galaxy far, far away.
