Lana Del Rey Forced to Cancel European Tour After Losing Her Voice

Lana Del Rey has just announced she will be cancelling her entire European and UK tour. The announcement came after the singer lost her voice due to illness. The singer told fans, “Sorry to let everyone down so last minute but this illness has taken me by surprise and have totally lost my singing voice,” she continued, "Dr has advised four weeks off for the moment. I hate to let everyone down but I need to get well. Love Lana.”

The Future of the Tour

As of right now, there has been no word on if the shows will be rescheduled or not. For refunds, fans have been advised to contact their original point of purchase. The shows were set to take place in London, Manchester, and Paris throughout the end of February. It's definitely rare for Lana to cancel shows, especially a whole leg of a tour. She didn't specify what exactly the illness was, but we hope for a speedy and easy recovery.

The Tour

The Norman F***ing Rockwell! tour began on September 21, 2019 in Wantagh, New York at Jones Beach. The tour was split into four parts, the first part being on the West Coast of North America and the second part in the UK & Europe. The third part is going to consist in the Midwest of North America and the fourth part is eventually going to consist of the East Coast in North America. NFR is still currently scheduled to conclude on June 14, 2020 in Tennessee.

The Grammys

Norman F***ing Rockwell! was nominated for a Grammy for Album of the Year. She attended the ceremony with her then boyfriend, Sean Larkin. In a surprising twist, she told Entertainment Tonight, "So, I actually had another dress and then my boyfriend and I were getting a belt for him at the mall, and I saw this, and I loved it." Although the singer didn't take home the Grammy for Album of the year, she was definitely one of the best dressed of the night.

No Slowing Down

She may be on the mend, but Lana certainly isn't slowing down. She's already announced that she's working on her next album, and is set to release a book of poetry this year. She poetry book will also be accompanied by a spoken word album, in which she will read her book. There's no official date for when the poetry book and spoken word album can be expected, but Lana has announced that they are almost completed. We're sending tons of healing vibes to the artist so she can get back to doing what she loves, making art.
