Vanessa Bryant lived life away from the social media, a thing she has been unable to maintain following the tragic loss of her husband, Kobe and daughter Gianna. Kobe Bryant perished alongside his daughter Gianna and seven other passengers that were onboard the helicopter that crashed on January 26 at Calabasas.
Vanessa, definitely going through the saddest moments of her life made her Instagram public, perhaps to share with the world the grief she along with her daughters were going through.
Tributes for the fallen NBA star started to pour on social media shortly after the tragic news hit the headlines. Celebrities and friends were notably among the first to react, with Vanessa paying her tribute on social media three days after the incident.
She paid her touching tribute to the adoring husband and amazing father that Kobe was, without forgetting her daughter, whom she described as a beautiful, loving, sweet, and amazing. She also thanked fans who had come out in millions to commiserate with the family.
While love birds were busy celebrating the 2020 Valentine, Vanessa, too proved a strong woman and loyal wife as she came out to celebrate the day with late husband Kobe Bryant and remember her daughter. According to her post, she will always love Kobe, and the fallen legend will be her valentine forever.
She, however, confessed to missing him and remembered how the day was his favorite. Vanessa sent Bryant and Gianna kisses, ending her caption with happy Valentine’s Day wishes to her babies.
While Vanessa paid tribute to her husband and even shared the day of love with him in his absence, the 37-year-old has shared a couple of times, although one of her posts was quite emotional. On February 10, Vanessa revealed how much she was struggling with what had just happened, but was yet thankful for she still had her three daughters left.
According to her, she was doing her all to absorb the reality, but her body could not take it that her adoring husband was gone, and Gianna would never again come back to her.
Her Valentine ’s Day post accompanied Lauryn Hill’s song ‘Tell Him,’ focusing on the lyrics ‘let me be patient let me be kind.’ Kobe was allegedly a big fan of the singer, a fact that his wife knew. Vanessa even got him tickets in 2018 to see Hill at the Hollywood Bowl.
Valentine was also a special day for the two with the lovebirds spending time together and doing something super romantic. Kobe shared a lit photo of them enjoying the favorite day, which showed him kissing his wife’s forehead, with a caption wishing his love and best friend a happy valentine.
