According to Entertainment Weekly, HBO has released the trailer for an all-new makeover series starring RuPaul's Drag Race alums Shangela, Bob the Drag Queen, and Eureka O'Hara. The new HBO show is a reality series called We're Here, and it will take the three queens across the nation as they makeover contestants in small towns. Post-makeover, the contestants will compete in drag shows as the famous queens' drag daughters. It's going to be like RuPaul's Drag Race meets Netflix's Queer Eye, and we couldn't think of a better combination.

Between 2010 and 2012, RuPaul produced a Drag Race spin-off series called Drag U which featured everyday women learning how to be fabulous from drag queens. Unfortunately, the low-budget show was canceled after its third season and is largely considered a flop. It seems as though We're Here is building off a similar theme as Drag U, but from the looks of the trailer, it seems like it will be a lot more successful.

We're Here is sure to feature glamorous costumes, hilarious quips, and plenty of heartfelt moments. The trailer already shows Shangela, Eureka, and Bob decked out in lots of big wigs and bright colors. And not to mention their fabulous vans which have been specially designed for each queen: Eureka's van looks like an elephant, Shangela's is pink with a bow, and Bob's is designed to resemble a giant purse.

Putting the extravagance aside, the series also seems to have a real heart, and aims to "showcase the transformative power of [drag]." In an Instagram post about the series, Eureka spoke about losing her mother and wrote: "The stories and moments we get to share are needed and I’m so excited for the world to see." Meanwhile, Shangela said that they were "changing Wig at a time" and called the series "emotional" and "powerful."

Don't worry though, there's no doubt these hilarious queens will also bring lots of laughs to the show.

The creators of We're Here couldn't have chosen a better group of queens. Shangela, Bob, and Eureka are all extremely successful, and Shangela even acted in A Star is Born alongside Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga. She was subsequently invited to the Oscars. All three queens competed on RuPaul's Drag Race, but only Bob was crowned the winner. Still, both Eureka and Shangela have been on multiple seasons of the show and built quite a robust fanbase for themselves.

"We're Here" will premiere on HBO on Thursday, April 23, 2020.
