Kristin Chenoweth And Josh Bryant Are Engaged: 'Kristin Is My World, My Everything'

American actress, Kristin Chenoweth, is finally getting hitched! Her boyfriend of three years, Josh Bryant, proposed to the star in New York.

"The Boy Next Door" star, who hilariously described herself as being "a runaway bride" in the past, said she was holding on to this one. The actress then added, "I won't let him go. I will race to greet him at the altar."

As reported by PEOPLE, the new groom-to-be was full of joy, and the 39-year-old couldn't hold any part of it back when he confessed:

“My best friend and soulmate said ‘YES’ to me,’ Kristin is my world, my everything, and I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with her.”

Chenoweth and Bryant have been known to be in a relationship since August 2018. However, they first met in 2016.

The couple met for the first time during the wedding of the actress' niece, where Bryant's band, Backroad Anthem, performed. 

Later in 2018, the band performed again at Chenoweth's nephew's wedding. This was the same year their relationship started. 

The Broadway queen, who is 53, claims that she isn't bothered about Bryant's age. They both have built a solid relationship, despite the 14 years' age gap.

After 3 years of a steady relationship with the guitar expert, Josh Bryant, the million-dollar question was finally asked.

The 39-year-old made his proposal in style, with a Rahaminov Forevermark three-stone Halo ring. And, of course, with red rose petals littered on the floor. This happened in Rainbow Room in the city of New York. 

Bryant is indeed a lucky guy. The country music guitarist grew up in the southern parts of the United States, Arkansas, to be precise.

As reported by Hollywood Life, he is a pure Southerner and has no shame in sharing that part of him on Instagram. His current home is in Nashville, Tennessee. 

Not only is Bryant a guitarist, but he is also the lead of his band, Backroad Anthem. The 6-man band came about back in 2012 by him and his friends. 

Backroad Anthem is based in Arkansas and has served as an opening for popular artists like Josh Turner and Chris Young. Also, the band has a soon-to-be-released EP titled "Feel This Night."

Chenoweth is widely known for stage plays such as "Wicked," "Charlie Brown," and "You're a Good Man." Not only is she a Broadway queen, but she has also starred in several TV shows like "Glee" and "Pushing Daisies."

The Oklahoma-born star began singing and acting since she was little. After high school, she furthered her career in Musical Theater Arts and Opera performance from Oklahoma City University.

The "Annie" star is quite an expert in both singing and acting, with a pretty solid amount of features in Broadway roles, theater, music, TV, and films.
