Law enforcement officials in Australia have no other suspects besides Rowan who is 42 years old. Not much is known so far about what prompted Rowan to murder himself, his wife and his children who were ages six, four, and three. It is believed that Rowan doused the car in gasoline and set it on fire. Witnesses say that they saw Hannah Baxter trying to save herself and children by escaping the car. She also yelled out the car to passersby in an attempt to get any kind of help.

It was reported that witnesses could hear Hannah yell “he's poured petrol on me.” Before the car went up in flames. Unfortunately, the emergency services arrived too late for most of the family. Hannah was transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital, but it was too late for her as well. The young mother died soon after arriving to the hospital succumbing to the injuries sustained from the care fire. This is a hard pill to swallow for fans of the former Rugby player. It is always unbelievably tragic when someone decides to take their life let alone involving others in their plan.
