To describe what was seen on Instagram without getting to graphic is basically Nicki Minaj, a rap legend and huge name in the entertainment industry was twerking on a bed with exceptionally nice sheets, and a thong on. To the dismay of even fans it is confusing as to why someone of her stature would share something so private on a public platform. As Nicki’s name has been through the ringer these last few months concerning her ex Meek Mill, and her husband Kenneth Petty , wouldn't it be a proper response to get away from the drama. Does Minaj crave attention no matter what the consequences, even if it means slightly tarnishing her image. If the argument is made that Minaj is a human like everyone else, then shouldn’t she have the same repercussions held against her. If a woman who worked a nine to five job went on her Facebook today and proceeded to post such an [explicit]( video she probably would be fired.
In this new day and age women are afforded the luxury of being able to express their sensual side, and also being respected for having their own goals and businesses. So, the feminist angle could be thrust upon this conversation. But, at the end of the day, the connection shouldn't be made. Many people aren't necessarily outraged by Nicki Minaj doing this, they are more so perplexed as to why she has gone to such low measures to be seen.

When you have solidified yourself as “The Queen of Rap” and people aspire to be like you in some form or fashion, is there a need to go for such low hanging fruit. You have money, influence, and memorable career. Could this be a case of possibly Minaj knowing that she is on her way out? Although each generation loves their legends with a unified strong beating heart, there does come that time when you fall out of the conversation. Maintaining that level of stardom is just impossible.
