French Montana Sued After His Dog Allegedly 'Viciously Attacked' Gardener

Rapper French Montana is being sued by a person who was allegedly attacked and bit by his dog after the person arrived at his home to do landscaping work.

According to legal documents, obtained by The Blast, Montana is being sued in Los Angeles County Courts by a man who says he was invited to the rapper's home back in 2019, to "perform landscaping services" at his Calabassas, CA home. On November 3, the person claims they were "viciously attacked" by a dog who was roaming around the property.

In the filing, the landscapers say the musician and his team "were aware that the dog was outside of its cage, and carelessly and without regard to the safety and wellbeing of the invitees, allowed the dog, with known and foreseeable vicious propensities and physiognomies, to roam freely, uncaged and unsecured."

Interestingly, the lawsuit points out several times that the rapper was well aware of the viciousness of the dog, and it's because French has been sued for a similar instance in the past.

The landscaper claims it was French's responsibility to keep the pet or security dog "under restraint" around the days and hours any workers or guests would be arriving on his property. Also, the alleged victim says the rapper "failed to post a sign or take other measures to warn of the presence of a vicious dog."

In the lawsuit, the person doesn't describe details of exactly how bad the injuries from the alleged bite, but says French Montana is "liable and responsible for (his) pain and suffering" due to "personal injuries and physical injuries."

If this all sounds familiar, French Montana was sued several years ago for the exact same thing by a person working on his security system and a person cleaning his pool. Back in 2019, a man says he was installing a security camera system at the rapper's home when a dog named 'Zane' violently "attacked and viciously" bit him.

The man says he was aware the dog was kept on the grounds for the purpose of "guarding the premises" and that French "encouraged the dog's aggressive and vicious nature in order to make the dog a great risk and threat to intruders." Also, he claims that Montana failed to "leash, tether, chain, or muzzle" the animal to ensure it didn't attack anyone who was working at the home.

Interestingly, back in 2017, the 'Coke Boyz' founder was sued by another person who was allegedly attacked by his German Shepard, who was on the property conducting his regular pool cleaning job. It should be noted, it's unclear if it was the same animal involved in all three instances or if the rapper has several guard dogs.

Either way, it appears this is an ongoing issue for the rapper, and he will have to face this latest lawsuit in court.
