Ozzy Osbourne fans learned that the singer was cancelling his entire 2020 tour, on Monday. Osbourne announced that his No More Tours 2 tour was being cancelled as he seeks out medical treatment. Aside from missing the concerts that so many of his fans have been waiting for, many of them were concerned about his health.

Last month it was revealed to the public, by Osbourne and his family, that he has been diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease, so this absence isn't really surprising, just a bit disheartening. The 71-year old Black Sabbath frontman has dealt with medical issues for decades, but only recently have these issues impeded his work.

Osbourne's rep released a statement saying that the No More Tours tour was cancelled to allow Osbourne to recover from the health issues he's faced in the past year. Keep in mind, dear fans, Osbourne had already postponed his entire 2019 tour schedule, and other shows have been rescheduled over and over. After his performance at the 2019 AMA's, and the release of his new album, Ordinary Man, many believed he'd finally come back on the road.

"I'm so thankful that everyone has been patient because I've had a s— year," Osbourne said in a statement on his website. "Unfortunately, I won't be able to get to Switzerland for treatment until April and the treatment takes six [to] eight weeks."

"I don't want to start a tour and then cancel shows at the last minute, as it's just not fair to the fans," he continued. "I'd rather they get a refund now and when I do the North American tour down the road, everyone who bought a ticket for these shows will be the first ones in line to purchase tickets at that time."

Fans can seek a refund if they already have tickets, but the tickets will not be honored otherwise, even if the tour is rescheduled at a later time. Ordinary Man will be available everywhere on Friday!

Here's hoping that Ozzy will make his return sometime when he's healthier and able to perform. Perhaps while he seeks care, he'll release some more music--after all, being on the stage isn't the only way to be a musician.

While we know Ozzy is relying on his fans for support, and we are definitely going to wait on him to support him in either touring again, or simply releasing music from the comfort of a studio, we truly hope his treatment goes well.
