Brad Pitt is still over the moon after winning an Oscar for his performance in Quentin Tarantino’s “Once Upon A Time In Hollywood” earlier this month.

It was Brad’s first win at the annual awards ceremony, so finally being able to take home a golden trophy of his own certainly meant a lot to him.

And while Hollywood studios are eager to pitch Brad different roles that might be of interest, the 56-year-old is reportedly wanting to take a much-needed vacation before he commits himself to another major project.

“Brad is trying to take some time to relax before figuring out his next move,” an insider told Hollywood Life.

“This Oscar meant a lot to him and he’s in no rush to run to another project. He’s going to take some time to just enjoy this moment. He’s joked he wants and needs a vacation and it’s well deserved so that’s honestly probably his next move.”

While Brad is looking to take some time away from being in front of the camera, the father-of-six will continue working as a producer behind the scenes.

Currently, he’s already developing several projects, including “The Underground Railroad” and “The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time.”

It was in November when Deadline reported how Brad was in talks to star in period Hollywood drama “Babylon” alongside Emma Stone.

There’s been no further update from sources regarding Brad’s involvement, so it’s fair to assume that the Hollywood star probably passed on the opportunity to focus on other work instead, which ties in with what Variety’s insiders previously revealed.

“Knowing him he’ll be making another movie in the very near future, but he also has a production company and other projects, so while he is taking a break, it’ll be short and not much.”

Brad Pitt took home the award for Best Supporting Actor for his superb performance as stunt double Cliff Booth in Quentin Tarantino’s “Once Upon A Time In Hollywood.”

The movie, which stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Dakota Fanning, went on to gross an astounding $374 million at the box office with an estimated budget of $90 million.

Aside from taking a break from acting, Brad will certainly also want to spend quality time with his children, who he wouldn’t have been able to see while shooting blockbuster films back-to-back.

After Pitt won his first-ever Oscar, all of his six kids, Maddox, 18, Pax 16, Zahara, 14, Shiloh, 13, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 11, reportedly congratulated their father on his big win by sending him a heartfelt text message right after his speech.

“Brad’s kids aren’t usually interested in the awards or much to do with his industry but an Oscar is a big deal and they know he won and they all messaged him to congratulate him,” the source concluded.
