Kate Middleton just spoke on her first-ever podcast. So, what did she talk about? Motherhood, what else? The podcast was recorded in January of this year during Kate's visit to London Early Years Foundation nursery in Stockwell, south London. She was there promoting her '5 Big Questions' survey on early childhood.

The purpose of the survey is to start a national conversation. The survey can be taken online and the questions focus on topics including a parent's opinion on what is 'most important for children in the UK to grow up and have a happy life.'

So, since Kate is the face of this survey, she obviously wants the people of the United Kingdom, as well as across the world, to find her relatable. Millions of women in the UK and the world are moms, so what better topic to focus on in the podcast than parenthood.

In the podcast, Kate spoke about how she hated pregnancy and preferred labor. In every pregnancy, Kate suffered from very severe morning sickness. Nine months of sickness 3 times is enough to make anyone prefer the end of it that comes with labor.

Aside from speaking on her pregnancy and the sickness she endured, Kate also spoke about the first time she held George, stating that it was 'amazing.' She also admitted that it was terrifying to showcase her new son to the world on the steps of the hospital. I mean, how was she even out of bed at that point? Is Kate actually Wonder Woman in disguise?

Another interesting topic that Kate delved into during the podcast was her interest in hypnobirthing.

What is hypnobirthing, you ask? Apparently it is an experience of 'calm relaxation' during labor, where one is 'free of fear' allowing the muscles to relax and the body to release 'endorphins' that replace the pain.

Now that we all have a clearer understanding of what hypnobirthing is, what did Kate have to say about it during the podcast? In an article on the Daily Mail that focuses on the podcast, Kate is quoted as saying:

'I'm not going to say that William was standing there sort of, chanting sweet nothings at me. He definitely wasn't! I didn't even ask him about it, but it was just something I wanted to do for myself.'

Kate also spoke about her parents, Carole and Michael.

She said, 'I had a very happy childhood. It was great fun and I'm very lucky I come from a very strong family. My parents were hugely dedicated.'

Her dedication to her children, her husband, and her royal duties definitely stems from her upbringing, at least in part.

When talking about her childhood, Kate went on to state, 'I remember that from my childhood, the simple things, like going for a walk together, I try to do this with my children.

She's a mom, a wife, and a royal, and she is great at all of it.
