Ozzy Osbourne has announced that he has cancelled his upcoming North American tour dates to his “No More Tours 2”. He is currently seeking treatment for recent updates concerning his health. It’s been a bit of a rough few years for the singer in terms of his health.

Last year in 2019, the singer suffered a serious fall that required surgery, which affected his touring. To make matters more unfortunate, earlier this year, the rock legend revealed that he had been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease.

“I’m so thankful that everyone has been patient because I’ve had a s**t year,” Osbourne said according to Rolling Stone. “Unfortunately, I won’t be able to get to Switzerland for treatment until April and the treatment takes six to eight weeks. I don’t want to start a tour and then cancel shows at the last minute, as it’s just not fair to the fans. I’d rather they get a refund now and when I do the North American tour down the road, everyone who bought a ticket for these shows will be the first ones in line to purchase tickets at that time.”

The North American tour dates were scheduled to kick off on May 27 in Atlanta and last through a show schedule on July 31 in Las Vegas. But due to the cancelations fans will have to regrettably live with the fact that that could have well have been the last time to see the legend on tour in the U.S..

However, the European tour is still on and the singer is scheduled to perform in Newcastle, England on October 23. Perhaps die-hard fans in the U.S. could even fly out to see the legend perform while he is able.

Osbourne is in the midst of promoting his new album, Ordinary Man, which is set to be release this Friday (Feb 21). Fans can still catch him as he still has an in-store signing at Amoeba Hollywood planned for that day, as well as a tattoo-parlor takeover the day before on Thursday (Feb 20). At the parlor event, fans will get to hear the full album and receive an ‘Ozzy-inspired’ tattoo.

In addition, the physical copies of the new album will come with a code which will allow fans to enter a sweepstake to win one of more than 300 Ozzy-related prizes which includes an Ozzy pass to get into any of the vocalist’s shows (for valid tour dates) and meet and greet passes are also on the list of prizes.

Osbourne’s new album, “Ordinary Man” is expected to be loaded. It features artists including Sir Elton John, Post Malone, Guns N’ Roses, Rage Against the Machine, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Even Post Malone’s producer, Andrew Watt, jumped on a record as a guitarist.

Osbourne recently explained at a SiriusXM event in Los Angeles that making the record with Watt was therapeutic for him. “I’d been feeling like f***ing death,” he said. “And Andrew was a shining light for me.”

Hoping the best for Ozzy Osbourne’s new album, tour, but most of all his health.
