It seems like just yesterday that the Biebs dropped the first episode of his docu-series Seasons. However, that's just not the case. Justin put out the ninth episode earlier today on January 17th, and in it he recalls a very difficult time in his very public past.

The 25-year-old singer spoke about an instance in August 2018 - a month before his marriage to model Hailey Baldwin-Bieber - where he was caught crying during a bicycle ride in New York City with his bride-to-be.

“I remember just struggling. I remember feeling, like, emotionally just overwhelmed and talking to her, not knowing how to communicate certain things and just feeling kind of frustrated," he said. "There has been a lot of things that have happened in my life and this was a point in my life where I was just like, so overwhelmed…being a normal person and crying.”

He continued to discuss the added pressure that comes along with having one's everyday struggles being aired to the public.

“When I look at things on the internet and people are like, ‘Justin’s upset, why is he upset?’ It’s like, they don’t give me permission to be upset," Justin said. "I don’t have ‘permission’ to be human and shed tears, and there are so many people every day who are in a conversation with their girl or their wife or their mom and they break down, but they don’t have cameras capturing it."

But this one incident in New York was not the only time he shed a few tears in public.

A month after his marriage Justin was again seen crying to Hailey at Universal Studios Orlando while visiting a pub inside The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. The scrutiny may have bothered him at one point, but Justin has realized that he's comfortable with expressing himself whenever he needs to.

"People are like, ‘Is he OK, is he having a mental breakdown?’ and I’m just emotional and, you know, I think that’s OK.”

A key focal point of the series thus far has been about Justin's mental health. Although it's something he's prioritizing, he says it's not always easy.

One particular instance came during the filming of the music video for his new song Yummy.

“It was just a lot, a lot of people, a lot of dynamic, a lot of stuff. I was in my head a lot and it’s hard for me to really enjoy it like that, but I know that some days are just gonna be like that. In any work space, there’s gonna be those off days where you just kind of feel like, ‘I got a good crew, I should be good but today, I just feel off.’ I think that day I was just a little off.”

Good days and bad days aside, we're just glad he's is in a positive headspace now!
