She befriended the dancers that were alongside her and credited it to how well she played her role in this film. As far as Wu's take on her performance in Hustlers, she isn't a fan of watching herself in movies. She revealed at the time that she still hadn't seen Hustlers. The last film that she saw that she appeared in was Crazy Rich Asians. The experience she had in playing that role was a huge factor as to why she stopped the projects that she acted in. Nonetheless, she is still extremely talented and performed very well in Hustlers and Crazy Rich Asians.
