Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's departure from the British Royal family has been one of the most highly-publicized media occurences of the last few months. The young couple, who have been married for almost two years, had reportedly left their positions in the British monarchy due to concerns regarding the paparazzi unfairly treating them since their relationship went public.

Now, new reports suggest that the couple has departed the Royal family for other, even more, personal reasons, namely the wish to better parent their young son, Archie.

Back in January, after a six week long hiatus from their position's duties, the couple shocked the world by announcing their departure from royalty with the implicit goal of leading a better life outside of the spotlight.

After announcing this, the couple declared their financial independence from the Crown, subsequently repaid government money spent on their home, and most recently closed down their Buckingham Palace office, which essentially finalized their departure from one of the longest-standing royal institutions in the world.

Since the departure, the family has been spending some time relaxing on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada. They've reportedly been enjoying a significantly higher quality of life since living on the other side of the Atlantic, with Markle reportedly getting back into yoga and enjoying long walks with her dog.

The family has rented out a large waterfront mansion that is very secluded, allowing them to escape to total privacy among concerns of paparazzi infiltrating personal aspects of their life.

In the wake of their departure, the biggest concern is young Archie though, with the famous parents looking to spend a significant amount more wuality time with their son at this young formulative stage in his life.

"It’s very much still about taking care of him and putting the family first," a source told People, "Archie and Harry have such a good time together. And Meghan is a great mom. She’s very much about tending to him. They are trying to live their life as regular parents."

Prince Harry's reluctancy to accept the paparazzi as a part of the famous life is not a new concept. Ever since his mother, Princess Diana, died tragically at a young age, Harry has been adamantly against press intervention in his personal life.

Now that he's a grown man with his own wife and child, his will to prevent the media from intervening in his relationship with his son just as they attempted to do before and after Diana's death is absolute.
