As far as we know, Kelsey is still in the running for a chance to win Peter Weber’s heart on this season of The Bachelor. Entering hometowns alongside Madison, Victoria F., and Hannah Ann, these four girls are still vying for a change to marry the one and only Pilot Pete.
However, if Kelsey ends up single after The Bachelor, bachelor nation already has a plan to get her back on her feet with a previous contestant. Who could it be?
Kelsey definitely made her impression this season, starting the game off strong with Champagne Gate, and finishing the season by crying pretty much all the time.
Peter seems to really enjoy her company, so she’s a good bet for the winner. Kelsey hasn’t posted anything that would make her seem single, and the competition isn’t over yet.
If she does end up single by the end of the season, Derek Peth of The Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise is waiting on the sidelines.
Derek Peth was originally on Jojo’s season of The Bachelorette, and then went on to be on Bachelor in Paradise where he got engaged to Taylor Nolan. However, the two eventually separated in 2018.
On Bachelor in Paradise Peth was cultivating a relationship with Demi Burnett. However, Burnett ended up leaving with Kristian Haggerty in the first same-sex pairing in Bachelor history.
It’s safe to say Peth has faced his fair share of heart break, and he’s looking for love.
When Champagne Gate happened, Peth showed his support by posting a screen grab of him from Jojo’s season of The Bachelorette.
He commented, “I see you Kelsey,” along with a photo of him crying after being sent home with the caption, “Why am I– Why am I crying?”
The rumors really started when Kelsey posted on Instagram calling for Iowans to get involved with politics. Peth commented on the post with, “wait… a contestant unafraid to help get others involved in the world around them!? here for this!!!”

Although the potential of these two getting together is incredibly adorable, this season of The Bachelor isn’t over yet. Kelsey could still end up with Pilot Pete, who she’s already spent many episodes crying over.
However, the fans seems to be happy to see her and Peth interacting either way.
Though one fan commented, “date date date date” under Peth’s comment on Kelsey’s Instagram post.
Another said, “Y’all need to seriously go on a date. You guys are both fire signs the attraction is there just do it.”
We’ll have to wait and see what happens on The Bachelor, but maybe Kelsey has a date lined up.
