"Gold Rush" star Parker Schnabel is taking his Discovery spinoff series Down Under, and this season he's teaming up with a co-star who puts the Au in beauty.

"Parker's Trail" is gearing up for the Fourth Season, and the young gold mining prodigy is heading 8,000 miles away from the Klondike in Alaska to prospect mining opportunities in Australia. The vast terrains of Australia are reportedly hiding some of the biggest untapped gold reserves on the planet, and Schnabel is going to take a shot at staking a claim for himself.

Previous seasons of "Parker's Trail" has taken the 25-year-old star to remote locations in Guyana and Papua New Guinea, but now he'll be in Australia and has enlisted the help of a local prospector who is well known Down Under.

According to Discovery:

"This year, Parker will be joined by 24-year-old gold miner and prospecting expert Tyler Mahoney, a fourth-generation Australian gold miner. Her ability to navigate the country’s vast goldfields and read the ground will be instrumental. Rounding out the team will be Danny Etheridge, cameraman and close friend of Parker; and Fred Lewis, a former US military medic and communications specialist."

Schnabel is well acclimated to surviving the harsh Alaskan wilderness, however, he'll be faced with a whole new set of challenges when he heads to Australia.

A release from Discovery outlines some of the hurdles Schnabel and his crew will need to overcome.

"Australia is one of the largest gold-producing nations in the world, but nothing can be taken for granted. Australia’s landscape is brutal and home to some of the deadliest snakes, saltwater crocodiles and spiders on the planet. To dig deeper into Australia’s gold mining industry, Parker will get his hands dirty prospecting mines. The team will travel vast terrain – over 6,000 total miles across Australia – following the historic gold rush trail that began in 1851."

Tyler is going to be making her debut on American TV, but she's already a star in Australia for appearances on "Aussie Gold Hunters," which is also part of the Discovery lineup and airs on Netflix. She also owns a jewelry and swimwear line, MAE BY TYLER, and regularly showcases herself wearing her products on Instagram.

While it's unclear how Tyler and Parker fared during their quest for gold, it seems they hit it off and shared many photos of the adventure, including a night out with the crew at a local hangout called "The Budgie Smuggler."

"Gold Rush: Parker's Trail" returns for a Fourth Season on Friday, March 13 at 8 PM on Discovery.
