Sir Elton John has been in the music business for decades and as the years go by, the singer has to take things easy because he is not getting any younger. Recently, the performer admitted to a crowd that he had to go off stage because he was not feeling well. He also went on to say that he has been battling pneumonia for quite some time and it was starting to take its toll on him. Therefore, he had to leave the mid-concert taking place in New Zealand.
Obviously, fans were disappointed because a lot of them wanted to see the singer do amazing things on the stage, but they could not get to. However, they are still terrified about the singer’s revelations and are sending love and prayers to him.
As earlier said, John has been in the music business for ages, and he has earned his rightful spot in the industry. He is also a receiver of several accolades and to date, fans are still in awe of his singing skills.
No one is sure if John will permanently put other projects on hold to focus on his health, but everyone is wishing him a speedy recovery.
The singer is said to begin his Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour soon, and fans don’t know if this particular project will be placed on hold or if it will continue as planned.

Sir Elton Hercules John, who was born Reginald Kenneth Dwight in Pinner, Middlesex, England on March 25, 1947, began his singing career in 1962. At an early age, John learned the piano and formed a band till 1967. He and his partner, Taupin wrote several songs for many musicians. Fast forward to 1969, John recorded and released an album titled Empty Sky,” which became his break-out album in the music industry. A year later, he released another single titled “Your Song,” which put him at top ten on the UK and US music charts.
John has received several awards including five Grammys, two Academy Awards and a Disney Legends award. In 1994, John earned his place on the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and fans were psyched. He has teamed up with several amazing artists to create beautiful pieces that have given him an edge over many musicians in the industry.
John had once announced to the world that he was bisexual and he did have relationships with both sexes, however, in 1992, the actor said he was comfortable with being gay.
He is married to a Toronto filmmaker, David Furnish and have two sons.
