Eventually Pratt got offered roles for darker generes like Moneyball and Passengers. After realizing his true potential as an actor, Pratt went on to become the leading man for big-time movie franchises like as Marvel's Guardians of The Galaxy and Jurassic World, ultimately making him a mega star.

When it comes to playing a role, Chris Pratt really likes to get into character. During the first few seasons of Parks & Recreation, Pratt stated that he unintentionally put on some weight. As the series continued, he decided to gain more because he thought would make his character funnier. Pratt further discussed a time the cast challenged him to an eating contest. In an episode that featured the fictionalized restaurant The Jurassic Fork, Pratt ate 12 racks of ribs in one setting. It's astonishing that he didn't vomit on set. Pratt was too indebted to his character Andy Dwyer.

Though Chris Pratt has moved on to bigger roles, every now and then the actor returns to comedy. The Parks & Recreation alumni is to star in the Disney animated fantasy Onward coming to theaters this March. The star took to Twitter to post a heartfelt moment he shared with 20 people at a private screening of the movie. While most of them had been children, others were adults, which led the actor to hilariously comment that "grown men shed some tears." Looks like the movie is going to be a tear-jerking. The warning is meant for parents as well.

Star-Lord Will Return To Save The Galaxy One Last Time

Pratt seems to delve in the fantasy genre a lot these days. His character Peter Quill A.K.A Star-Lord will be returning to save the galaxy from infinite death and destruction, with company, one last time. While Guardians of the Galaxy is an action-packed adventure film, the movies offer some great comedic relief and it's likely the third installment will too. The third movie, which is set to release sometime in 2021, will leave fans wanting more. Afterall, everyone wants to know if Gamora is alive or not?

Chris Pratt is leaving his lasting mark on Hollywood, like so many actors before him have done. The third installment to his blockbuster franchise Jurassic World will surely further the actor's career even more. Pratt himself even seems excited about the new script. The actor took to social media to convince fans that "It's going to be pretty epic . . . you won't be disappointed." No doubt that it will be anything short of awesome. Though fans will eagerly have to wait for the third installment of Jurassic World to hit theaters in 2021 as well.
