It's no secret that Amanda Bynes has been through the wringer and back. Having grown up in the spotlight from "All That" and "The Amanda Bynes Show", she has been subject to scrutiny in her career and personal life. That kind of attachment to fame can be detrimental to young women's self esteems and mental states.

After several altercations, Bynes went to rehab and was diagnosed with Bipolar disorder and struggled with drug abuse. Since then, she's slowly taking back her life.

In 2018, Bynes did an in-depth interview and photoshoot with Paper magazine, divulging her journey through drug abuse and rehab. She was incredibly open about her experiences, saying she attributed its conception to her ADD medication.

After faking ADD symptoms to get her hand Hollywood's 'new skinny pill', Bynes would take Adderal regularly. It affected her ability to memorize lines and eventually led her to quit acting on Twitter, which she regrets.

She owns up that her Twitter posts were from her drug usage and instability, and relayed that she was on a healthier path.

Also in the Paper Magazine interview, Bynes talked a bit about her classes at the Fashion Institute for Design and Merchandising. She said she enjoyed her merchandising math course, finding pleasure connecting numbers to retail costs and business terms.

Originally, she postponed her curriculum to focus on rehabilitation, collecting herself. Bynes graduated from FIDM in 2019, proudly posting a pic on Instagram. She hopes to one day start her own line of clothing, but before that wants to continue acting.

There's been a lot of conflicting news as to whether or not Bynes is doing okay. Recently, she checked out of a sober living rehabilitation center to live with her parents while she looked for her own place to live.

However, other sources reported that Bynes's parents wanted a judge to return her to a rehabilitation center in fear of relapse. Opposite to that, Bynes reportedly wanted to cut off her mother as a conservator.

Either way, we hope she's doing okay.

Bynes recently posted a selfie with an unidentified man, the caption reading "Lover" beneath it, announcing their engagement Valentine's Day. In a post prior, she uploaded a picture of her hand over a man's hand with a huge diamond ring on her finger and a gold wedding band around his.

Moreover, fans were not only shocked by this but worried when she posted a heart-shaped face tattoo after leaving rehab. There's nothing wrong with getting a face tattoo, it's really cool, but fans are worried about her erratic behavior.
