Krystal Nielson and Chris Randone left their season of 'Bachelor in Paradise' as one of the golden couples who got engaged on the show. Their wedding was aired on the following season of the sizzling summer 'Bachelor' show. They even had the adorable couple name of Mr. and Mrs. Goose. Who would ever want to let that nickname go?! According to Perez Hilton, despite only being married for 8 months, the gaggle of geese has decided to go their separate ways.

Despite there being a few other strong couples, Krystal and Chris were the only pair to get engaged on the show from their season. Kevin and Astrid did meet up and get engaged a few months later.

The couple made an official statement to Bachelor Nation.com on Friday. “It hurts to announce that at this moment, we have mutually decided to separate. Never did we imagine this scenario, but we’ve come to a point where we both need to work on ourselves.”

“We are best friends that love and care for each other so deeply. We’ve appreciated everyone’s love and support so far throughout our journey and we just ask that you please respect our privacy as we navigate through this,” the statement continued.

Krystal and Chris had gotten married on the beach in Mexico where they met on paradise in June 2019. The episode that featured their wedding aired in August of 2019 with only some members of the current 'BIP' season invited to the reception.

Krystal and Chris were both branded as villains during their seasons of 'The Bachelor' and 'The Bachelorette' respectively. Krystal competed on Arie's season of 'The Bachelor.' She quickly became the villain when she would monopolize time with Arie. Her fellow contestants got particularly annoyed when she refused to be a good sport after her team lost a competition. She insisted on seeing even though the losing team wasn't meant to and this ultimately leads to her demise on the show.

Chris Randone competed on Becca's season of 'The Bachelorette.' While Chris wasn't as much of an outright villain on Becca's season, he did target the not-so-menacing villain Jordan super aggressively which wasn't a great look. Regardless of how they were on their respective seasons, they were a perfect match made in controversial 'Bachelor' contestants heaven. The two are now the first married 'Bachelor' franchise couple to separate. Hopefully there are not many more on the way in the near future.
