High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens is newly single. Previously, Hudgens had dated Austin Butler, a heartthrob actor best known for his role in Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. Butler and Hudgens dated for years. Nine years to be precise: The couple first got together in 2011. Earlier this year, however, Butler and Hudgens announced that they were going their separate ways, leaving the Princess Switch actress all alone on Valentine's Day for the first time in ages. But Hudgens isn't letting being single bring her down. This afternoon, Hudgens posted a series of goofy videos of herself on Instagram. In the videos, Hudgens is captured singing a "Happy Valentines" to herself and having a great time. One video in the series features Hudgens being hugged by an animated bear while the star asks "Who needs a Valentine when you've got this guy?" Suffice to say, Hudgens is enjoying her single life, even on V-Day!

Tana Mongeau is best known for being an online personality and YouTuber. In April 2019, Mongeau began dating fellow YouTube sensation, Jake Paul. Their romance exploded quickly, and within mere weeks they were married. Just as quickly, however, the spark died, and the two parted ways early this year. Now, Tana Mongeau is single and proud of it. She says she's learned things from her relationship with Paul and will likely refrain from dating other celebrities in the future. For now, Mongeau is giving her heart to her fans instead of a significant other. This morning she tweeted a set of provocative photos of herself. In the photos, she is dressed in sexy lingerie and posed giving a kiss to a giant teddy bear. The caption accompanying the photos reads "goodmorning and happy valentine's day...not 2 b corny but you guys are the first and truest love i have ever/will ever experience. love urself today b4 anyone else + know that i love u. here's a sneak peek of what i'll b posting to instagram later in case u need to jack off! xo"

It's not just ladies who are proud to be single this Valentine's Day! Famed DJ Marshmello is getting flirty online as well. Not much is known about the DJ's relationship history, but he does not appear to be dating anyone at the moment. In fact, Marshmello took to Twitter today to shout-out fellow musician Rihanna. He posted a video of clear jars shaped like the headpiece he wears when he performs. The jars are sitting on a pink conveyer belt and being filled with pink and red hearts one by one. His caption for this post reads "tag your crush...I'll start @rihanna." Rihanna is also recently single, having just broken things off with her boyfriend of three years. We have to give props to Marshmello for shooting his shot.

Alessia Cara

Canadian singer Alessia Cara is also single this Valentine's Day, and she might win with the funniest tweet of the day. Cara has previously dated Kevin Garrett, but the two broke up in 2019. Cara is witty and full of self-deprecating humor in a Valentine's Day tweet that reads, "happy valentines day a cute flight attendant called me 'buddy' so that's where I'm at with romance." Many of us can relate to Cara's struggle, and her post sure does make us feel less alone.
